All steel, no plastic. What's not to like!
These are simply old school thumbtacks like I grew up with. Stoutly made out of steel with painted on color rather than the silly plastic covers that one finds on so many tacks these days. Great price and fast shipping.

Great for cork board but not as good for harder materials
Not as strong as I had hoped. It's good that you get 200 in a package because 1/3 of them quickly folded over and broke when I pressed them into some stubborn drywall. I think many of the tacks are not perfectly perpendicular to the head which makes it much more likely to fold over when pressed into the material. The 2/3rd that worked were fine and I have plenty left over for my next project. Still a decent value.
