For small pools
This is perfect for small inflatable pools or hot tubs .. The vacuum worked ok..and the skimmer and other attachments came on and off easily. The length adjustment was nice. And skimmer did its job. For the price. It was a great deal. I have small 4’ round inflatable pool and this was perfect for it.

Use the net daily!
Needed a skimming net and got it at a great price along with the other items as a bonus. The only problem I have is the pole doesn’t interchange with other brands but it’s perfect for the items that are in the pack! That’s why 4 stars

Needs fine filter
Update 2: 10 micron sock was good but still noticed a small cloud of silt when vacuuming. This is the real deal fix for this product. 1 micron filter socks. Works better than any other fix it have found. Absolutely no silt cloud. Bag Filter, 155384, BP-420-1 Polypropylene 1 Micron, 4.5" x 20" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0067GPSP8/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_LnkZxbXAEBN0T update : When I have a problem I am relentless until its solved. Here is a solution that might work better. I tried old socks, tee shirts and upright vacuum filters until I discovered aquarium filter socks at 200 microns did a good job but didn't remove the finest if silt. Last week I found this filter bag at 5 microns (the smaller micron rating the smaller particles it will remove) 5 micron is about the finest you can get and with the size of this bag at 14" long the flow rate is still good enough to pick even the large pieces. The price on Amazon is under $10. I zip-tie it to the vacuum each time for a secure hold and will now have a sparkling clean pool. Pentek KO5G4S Polypropylene Filter Bag (clip the stitching to remove the metal ring on the front of the bag) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MPQLQPA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Original Post: Thought it was going to be great for my start up 12' pool. Does a good job picking up large debris but the screen is similar to a skim net. After a month I noticed fine particles at the bottom of the pool and would get cloudy when someone was swimming. A vacuum that works with the pool paper filter I believe is the best option. If they had a paper filter attachment for this I would give it 5 stars.

Ahhh, where to start :)
Update: 7-2-14 Hey all, I finally figured out how to add pictures of my invention to Amazon so everybody can see for them selves. I do hope this helps you with your cleaner and gives you many clean pool days. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Now on to your regularly scheduled review : ) I know that sometimes you can't expect to much for $ 20 bucks but I thought I would give some tips and understanding on this kit anyway. First the pole. It is telescopic and made for a smaller pool but seems to be very well made and does not bend when using. Next was the net. At first I thought that is was not to my liking as it is a flat net with no give in the middle to catch things. But after using it a couple of times I decided that this was even better. It does a great job of catching the bugs and dog hair. And when you empty it you don't have to fiddle with the blinging net to get the stuff out. Just turn it over and bounce the pole over your hand and the stuff just falls off. Now on to the vacuum head assembly. The head itself is very well made and will last for years if treated right. It has a nozzle that points 90 degrees towards the net that blasts water through the net and creates a very noticeable vacuum from the bottom picking up most anything in it's way. it also has a small brush and two wheels to help with the cleaning. And if I was living somewhere where the only thing I needed to vacuum was a few bugs and leafs then that would be it. But, even when I lived in WA I still got fine dust in my pool floor. And now I live in AZ where fine dust is a way of life, this net does not work at all. So being the creative guy I am I thought, well I will just build me a better catching bag. I had a few extra Micro fiber towels and decided to sew one up in the same configuration as the net and see what I got. Well after a good cleaning it seemed I had success. But alas it was not to be. after about an hour I looked to see, and all that fine dust was on the bottom of the pool again. Back to the drawing board. So after a couple of other design flaws I came up with the perfect match. As a old Fish tank guy I remembered using fine flax for the tank filters and thought hey, this might work. So I found one of my old pillows and cut some of the fill out and put it in my new micro fiber towel net and used an old tube 2" long the same size as the output of the vacuum head and stuffed it in the forward center of the bag so the water would have to travel up the bag before getting into the filter media and vacuumed away. After 2 hours my pool was still perfect with no dust left over. I then put a little clip on the pole to hold the bag still. It's kinda funny, it looks like a old Kirby vacuum bag when it's doing its job. So now I have a great pool vacuum and enough filter media to last me through the summer. And if I need more I just go and buy a cheap $ 6 buck pillow and I'm good for another year. Life is great : )

Big essential for pools
I bought an above ground pool that was on sale. It wasn't until I started putting it together for my nephews that I realized I needed more than just water and shock. Skimming the fallen leacves was simple, but I began to notice the debris settled on the bottom. It was only a 10 by 30 inch pool, so I didn't need to go elaborate. Simple would suffice, and this serves the job. I was able to clean the floor with the hose and vacuum attachment in minutes. Being that I lose a few gallons when they are playing, I am able to fill the pool again while collecting at the same time. I left it in one place and watched as some debris was sucked into the bag, but it was easier to run it back and forth to gather the visible particle. Easy to assemble and clean as well. The pole is long enough that I can clean about 70% of the area from one spot. Worth the price.

Won't go wrong with this one
I bought my son a round 18ft above ground pool. There was a little debris in the bottom of the pool. Vacuum worked great, was very shocked that the suction was actually sucking up everything on the bottom. Very easy to use. I liked that you're able to hook up your own water hose, instead of buying a hose that some Vacuum require. Net slipped off once, only because my son didn't have the net on all the way. Other than that so far no issues with anything. I will give another update soon. Overall I would recommend. All equipment was in the box with no damage
