On opening the box I was impressed by the feel and quality of the Camera. I noticed it also has a tripod fixing point on the hinged bracket.It is Plug and Play with some caveats. It doesn't necessarily assume itself to be the default camera so some changes in your settings may be required.Please read the trouble shooting information on the sales page on Amazon. You may have to change some settings in your computer.In "my devices" i happily found the USB camera and set it up.I also noticed on some apps that the other end couldn't hear me or i could not here them. You may need to change some settings within individual applications. But once set you do not need to set them again.Just read the helpful information on the Amazon sales page.To conclude, of the 3 applications i used to test this today (Skype, Viber and FB Messenger) all parties gave the picture and sound quality as good. All of the applications had to be set up individually as I have a bluetooth speaker connected to my PC. But this takes nothing away from the ease of camera set up.The camera picture on screen is very good and i cant wait to try it on my Large Screen TV sometimeAs a user of Crosstour cameras, one of the most important things to consider is Customer Service. This has always been good if I raised any issues or questions.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  What a nice clear web cam. I got this as my built in one wasn't good quality but this one has a brilliant clear hd picture and video. My video dont show how clear it really is as it's a video of a screen. It's nice and neat and clips on to all laptops due to the movable clip. No installation required. It's just plug and play, ideal for my knowledge level lol. I am very happy with it. Good for the price.

This Crosstour webcam installs itself within a few seconds of the USB connector being inserted. I use it with my six-year-old Sony laptop, which is running on Windows 10.The picture is wider and much sharper than that obtained using the laptop’s built-in camera. (The increased picture width is very helpful when there is more than one of you at your end of the Skype call.)On Skype, you have to select (under Settings) the USB camera for both “camera” and “microphone” to avoid defaulting to the built-in devices.Before unplugging, I use the Windows software to “remove” the camera from the list of installed devices.I recommended this item to my sister, who has bought one too.

Great addition to a laptop that has no built-in webcam (Asus Zephyrus G14). The design is smart but neutral and unimposing, with no distracting branding or unnecessary text. The built-in stand seems sturdy so far, with good adjustability and a tripod screw mount. It sits firmly on the top of the screen without blocking the laptop's own mic array and, most importantly, the front lip is compact enough that it doesn't extend beyond the slim bezel on my laptop screen and cover anything up - which is ironically better than Asus's own ROG Eye camera (the suggested accessory for this laptop) manages. Images are sharp and not too grainy except in very low light. As you would expect for a small webcam at this price point, it does much better in more even and brighter lighting when the image is excellent. White balance and tone seem pretty natural. The microphones array produces clear sound - perhaps not the richest, but this isn't a studio condenser mic. It blows the built-in webcam on my work Lenovo Thinkpad away. I can't imagine anything anywhere near this price that could equal or better it.

This seems to be a straightforward and reliable webcam with image and audio quality comparable to units 2 or 3 times the price. Build quality is also decent. It comes with an integrated usb cable and some simple installation instructions - basically just plug and play. Cable is about a metre in length. Imaging uses auto-correction for lighting levels - this is relatively bright, so I would say that it might work particularly well if you were using it in low light conditions. This is the second bit of kit that I have purchased from Crosstour (the other - the 4k action cam - was also very cost-effective) - and I have been impressed with the responsiveness of their customer service.

I originally wrote a review that gave the camera four stars and said "This is a decent, mid-budget camera. I use it for meetings with clients in my home office and it does the job well." However I've now reduced it to one star as the plastic pole that joins the camera to the mount is so weak it broke without barely any pressure being applied. The camera is now useless as I have no way of fixing it to my monitor. It's such as shame that a great piece of technology has been let down by a piece of plastic. I messaged the seller asking for a replacement but got no reply. So 1* it is!

My goal was to find a relatively decent web cam for a sensible price and I have found one.It's not what a pro streamer would use but it works amazingly well. The picture is pretty clear (although a bit grainy), the focus is brilliant and it is perfect for video calls. I haven't tried the built in mic as I have a condenser mic that I use.Setting it up is super easy. I clipped it to the top of my monitor, plugged it in and a couple of seconds later it was ready to go (Running Windows 10 Home). No messing around, no fancy gimmicks just simple and easy to use.Very happy with this purchase. The quality for the price earnt it the 5 stars.
