Good but not accurate for low weights
It is a fine scale for that price. The precision is really 0.1g but not for the first grams. If there is something on it and you add 0.1g, it shows that but if there is nothing on it, you keep putting studf on it until it is too late and it starts to show the weight with 0.4g at least. If you want it for very low accurate measurement, it may not help you but it works fine for the rest.Revision : After contacting the seller, according to their reply, it seems that they will improve the accuracy of this scale. They returned my review immediately. It is a seller that support their product and I updated my review accordingly.

Seems accurate
Seems accurate.I use it to weigh ground coffee for an espresso machine. Target is 17g. It helps to get accuracy to 0.1 grams to accurately reproduce espresso shots. The platform is a little small. It would be easier to use it the scale was a little larger.I tested the accuracy using US coins. If you google "weight of us coins" you will get a list.I used several coins and got the expected weights.Summary, use new shiny coins. Worn coins are a little lighter.Cent (since 1983) - 2.500 g.Nickel (since 1866) - 5.000 g.Dime (since 1965) - 2.268 g.Quarter (since 1965) - 5.670 g

Well-built, accurate and responsive scale!
I had previously purchased a different digital scale for measuring coffee for brewing; I found that a 1g accuracy wasn't quite good enough, and I wanted a quicker "response" from the scale as I added beans/grounds to the scale.I purchased this scale in search of the above qualities; so far, it's met my criteria quite nicely. The accuracy to a tenth of a gram helps me ensure I'm using the same or intended amount of beans/grounds each time, and the scale is much quicker to pick up changes than my previous scale. The device itself is well-constructed and functions perfectly so far. I appreciate the plastic cover(s) it came with, so I can cover and store it after each use. It's just the right size to fit a coffee mug or 34 oz french press, and the TARE function makes it easy to use different containers to hold what you want to measure. Unless it breaks without warning suddenly, it's exactly what I needed for coffee brewing (I did see that it has a 12-month warranty, so I can be somewhat reassured that the manufacturer stands behind the product).

Quick response, good for coffee, but no adjustable timeout as advertised
This is my second of this style scale, and AMIR is way better than the first one (KasTechnical). This AMIR scale has a quick response time, which is very good for coffee pourovers, my primary use. I compared it to my 0.1g jewelers scale, and it's within a few tenths of that one - no calibration weights though, to be sure.I took a star off because I purchased this one in large part for the ability to turn off the auto-shut off, and the instructions in the product description did not work. AMIR offered me to return/replace, or a partial refund, and I took the latter since the timeout on mine is 'stuck' at 3 minutes (of no change) which is sufficient for my usage.

This scale is really small and accurate with a 6.6 pound capacity that is adequate for kitchen applications .
This scale works great if you weigh into mixer bowls, one liter or smaller measuring cups or into quart or half gallon mason jars. It is too small to be used to weigh onto a plate so get a larger 5KG scale if you want to weigh onto plates. It can be used to weigh onto clear pyrex pie plates or similar clear glassware that are larger than its 4X4 inch measuring surface but be aware that this makes it very difficult to use the tare function or weigh opaque items because the readout and tare button are under the plate. The 6.6 pound capacity is sufficient for most kitchen applications and the .01 OZ or .1 g precision is sufficient for almost any application. Anyone who wants to weigh drugs may prefer the extra digit of precision of a 500 g scale but they don't have the capacity to be useful for kitchen applications.

Scale works great. Scale is relatively small
Scale works great. Scale is relatively small, but it comes with two different sized plastic tops which you can place on the scale that provide a lip to weigh odd sized objects or put large bowls onto. Then when you are done you flip them over and they act like a cover for the scale. The 3kg capacity and .01g accuracy is better than most scales at this price point. With this upgrade I can finally make an entire batch of bread in one bowl without measuring the ingredients in 500g (or smaller) increments like I had to with my old scale.

UPDATED: Nice size, works as intended
The product description refers to SMART BUTTON FUNCTIONS and states the T and M buttons allow you to change the auto turn-off time to 60", 120", 180", and 0 for off. Twice reps from Amir told me the same thing, but this scale DOES NOT allow you to change the auto turn-off time. When the rep Kelly emailed me the same instructions that were posted in the Q&A above, I told her those instructions didn't work. I have tried for 2 weeks now to get another response with correct instructions, but my emails have gone ignored. The scale also DOES NOT alert me to uneven surface placement. The scale is fine for my needs, but I wouldn't buy it again simply because the product description is inaccurate and the seller has absolutely ZERO interest in making it right (i.e., poor customer service). I would return it, but I do like the size as it fits nicely in my kitchen toolbox.UPDATE 10/3/16: Amir sent me the correct instructions, so now I am able to disable auto turn-off. Since this is why I bought the scale, apart from it's perfect size, I can say I'm happy now.

gave it 5 for function, auto-off or auto off instructions
5 for function, 4/5 for instructions that kind of sucks but that’s to be expected. This works, .1g accuracy with 3000 g max load. And BEST feature, is you change change the auto-off!Copy and pasted another buyers comment so there’s more of it in the review section so it gets out to people easier:How to change auto-off timing:Scale is off: Press & hold the M key.Press the ON key once. Continue holding the M key.Wait 2 seconds, then press the ON key 4 times quickly. The current Auto-Off timeout is displayed.Cycle thru the Auto-Off options with the M key.Press the OFF key to set the selected timeout.0 = turning off auto-shutoff.

Just big enough to be useful and small enough to tuck away
I really like the compact size of this kitchen scale, it is small enough to pop in the drawer without cluttering it up and big enough to fit my Pyrex jug that I use for cooking. In the images you can see the pyrex jug on the unit before and after pushing the tare button. The device measures in g / oz / ozt / dwt / ct / gn (I don't know what half of those are), I generally use the grams function as most Australian recipes call for grams. This is going to be handy for those international recipes that use other measures and I will be able to weigh it out in the original measure without having to calculate it in grams via google or the like. The quality of the unit is good for the price, the buttons feel a little bit cheap, but the overall construction quality is good. The weigh pad comes with a hard shell plastic cover and there is another plastic hardshell that covers the whole top of the device which doubles as a container to weigh in. Overall a great buy and I recommend this product.

won't pick up 0.1
I bought this scale as it has been advertised as very precise and can pick 0.1g... Unfortunately, from 0.0 it won't go to 0.01 but straight to 0.7 or similar so If you after a precise scale (e.g. for spices) this is not a good pick. If you need just a general grams - probably OK...

Great value coffee scale
Excellent for the price. Using for espresso coffee measurements (beans, grind, and under portafilter for yield). Was considering spending 5-6x more but happy I didn’t as this scale does the job perfectly and is a great size to match the Breville 54mm Portafilter (which can sit on the scale to tare)

Compact scale
I was surprised at how compact the scale was. Has a very legible blue backlight panel with large fonts to help read your measurements well. Can change to different measuring metrics with a click of a button, zeor the weight etc etc. Came wirh 2 plastic containers to help hold your measurements... eg very uaseful for your coffee beans!. Would recommend.

Digital kitchen scale
I bought this kitchen scale for my wife as she always needed one for cooking and weighing the things . She used it and she is very happy with its digital screen . The packing was very secure and the bonus is it also have two batteries in the box.
