It works!!!
I ran down to my laptop to write a review the moment I finished using this tool. I am that impressed! It worked amazingly well and declogged all three drain pipes. The biggest was our bathtub. This, I thought, was going to be a little tricky because as soon as the tool goes in, it had to curve to a 90deg angle (I'm not sure why). I thought I would have trouble for sure, but since it kept going in, I continued as far as I could and when I pulled it back, I had soooooo much stuff coming up with it. I had to repeat this process 2-3times because there was so much hair, but the FlexiSnake got it all! It worked for the sinks as well. I wasn't able to pull out the stopper in the sinks, but just put the tool in-between and it worked. Pipe Cleaner? No!: For those who say it's 'just a pipe cleaner', I want to ask if they've ever seen a pipe cleaner that looks like it has a million little thorns on it. Pipe cleaners have super soft bristles (like chenille) that would NEVER pick anything up. This tool has actual 'thorn-like' bristles, which actually prick you if you press it against your finger. That's why it's able to pick up hairballs in the drain. And for those who said they put it in all the way, but nothing came up, it means that your problem is way beyond what the Flexisnake can handle. Either find a longer tool or time to call a plumber :) or it's not hair that's clogging your drain. Cleaning:I ran this under water to get the disgusting gunk off and then sprayed bleach on it before attempting to clean it. Longer hair is easier to remove. I did not break my back trying to get each and every little hair. IMO, this is like a toilet plunger. I won't throw it away but I'm not going to wash it with soap and keep it super-clean. I'll rinse it clean enough, then put it in a plastic bag under the sink where I keep all the other bathroom cleaners and stuff. I thought about throwing it away, but do we throw away our toilet plungers after one use? Yup. That's why I'm keeping it. :)

Very effective. Much better than using chemicals.
I was using something equivalent to drano for the longest time prior to using this drain snake. I was never satisfied with the liquid drain cleaner because it would only last about 3 months before I needed to use it again. There was a toxic smell and I had to wait at least 30 minutes before I could use the sink again. And being in a small apartment with a large 3 gallon container of chemical wasn’t ideal. Most importantly, I was concerned about the environment impacts of pouring a dissolvent into the drain. When I got this drain snake, I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I snaked it down my drain and yanked up unspeakable horrors. It was so gross! It was a combination loose hairs mixed in with black sludge-like stuff. But guess what, after I finished cleaning (about 10 minutes), my drain didn’t have any more problems for about 2 years! Water flowed freely down the drain. It feels way more environmental and it’s definitely way more effective. Cleaning the drain snake wasn’t easy and I don’t blame others for wanting to throw it away after use. But it IS possible. What I did after each “excavation,” was I’d swish the snake in the toilet bowl. It’s kind of satisfying seeing the water turn dark and then flushing it away. At the very end of the cleaning, I’d give the snake a few more swishes and pull out any tangled strands. It looks almost brand new with a little bit of effort. All in all, I really recommend this drain snake. It’s more cost-efficient, more effective, takes up less space for storage, and is more environmental.

SO HANDY, but a PAIN to remove the gunk from it!
This little millipede is great! I found this on one of those "Bustle" lists which I am pretty skeptical about at times, but I figured for $6, why not give it a try? My boyfriend and I both have longer hair and so our bathroom drains can get clogged quicker than most. I bought this to try on our bathroom sink and our tub/shower drain. For the sink, it worked WONDERS! Got so much out and I love that I didn't have to turn to chemicals. I don't typically use Draino unless absolutely necessary - I'm more of a vinegar/baking soda type. This product got so much hair and grime out in a few swipes, I don't think our drain has been that clear in a long time! When I used it on the tub/shower drain I already have a Tubshroom (https://www.amazon.com/TubShroom-Revolutionary-Protector-Catcher-Strainer/dp/B01BYRMGCC/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?s=bedbath&ie=UTF8&qid=1547821000&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=tubshroom&psc=1) to get the day-to-day hair, but because it's not a perfect fit for our tub so things can still get by. When I went to use this on the tub, not as much came out so I don't think it worked as well. However, the plumping is a different shape - it's shallower before the pipe curves and the opening is sectioned off so it's harder to get into. Still pulled out some gunk but I didn't notice as much of a difference. I would say the biggest downside to this product is that this tool itself is hard to clean! The hair and grime sticks so well to this, that the only way to really get it off is by using your own hands to pull off the hair and remove the gunk - SO GROSS. I tried using a wash cloth after pulling the hair off but that didn't work as well. I may try soaking after using it next time to see if that works better, but definitely a hassle to clean and I could see a lot of people throwing this away after one use.

I have been using this product for years at all the addresses I've lived in.It gets all the loose hair and stuff from down the Bathroom sink without having to use harsh chemicals which get into the sewage system and do not always do a complete job.I had a blocked sink because of loose hair etc and even after the chemical advertised to unblock sinks it was still blocked.I used the FlexiSnake and it worked first time.I shall not use anything else

This thing is great! The bathtub in my apartment has been clogged since I moved in, sometimes taking half an hour or more to drain after a shower. This tool was shorter than I thought it would be, but by the time I was done I realized it was actually a little longer than needed. It was very easy to guide it into the problem spot, easy to pull it back out again, and only a bit challenging to get clean. The package says to use an old toothbrush to clean it off and I did have a lot of luck with that, I also used some tweezers to hellp remove stubborn hairs that were stuck to it between rounds. I had such a bad clog that I was using pliers to tug and coax at the mouse sized clump of hair. This tool has solved my problem, it gave me access to the hairball that was clogging up my drain, and even pulled out a good amount of the oily sludge that had collected in there. I think I must have jammed it in there half a dozen times before the clog was resolved, I was expecting it to take a lot more effort than it did. This tool is great and grabbed onto the hair and stuff amazingly well.

J'en ai acheté des con---eries, des pinces, d'autre tiges, une tonne de produit chimiques-super-miraculeux-vous-n'en-croirez-pas-vos-yeux, et pourtant, voila ce que j'ai sorti de mon lavabo ! Beurk hein ?
