Have gone through many thermometer over the years - and this is one of the best.It is an easy to use instant-read digital thermometer that works whether you are cooking in the oven, on the hob or BBQ. It has a long probe, so you don't have to get too close to hot surfaces.The digital display is easy to read and the main part of the unit is easy and comfortable to hold. There's a big, easy to use on/off button as well as easy to switch between C and F. Probe comes with a protective sheath.Simple to clean for its next use.The thermometer came with well written instructions.A well designed piece of kit - and just as effective as the more expensive thermometers. Who needs an app to check food temperatures!!!

It works very happy with it.

Difficult to hold over a pan of boiling jam while it decides to slowly reach the reading, by which time the screen is steamed up. Not sure about how accurate it is either as some jam still hasn’t set even though the thermometer reading was at the right one for a setting point

Broke after the first use.

This is an excellent thermometer, that has made cooking a joy! I used to have a different version of this (the TP101) but I found thy screen was too small and the button too small and fiddly. This version eradicates thy problem with the bigger screen and buttons. The best feature on this is the temperature guide label on the back, this is a really handy feature to have and rival thermometers don’t have this. I’ve found this to be so helpful when cooking. 5 stars from me and highly recommended to all budding Jamie Oliver’s and nigella’s!!

It measures well, but tiny buttons and small, low-contrast display make it fiddly to use.
