Great for knife oil when you only want to use a drop. Has been holding nano oil for about 2 months now with no leaks. Dispenses a small drop where you want it.

I bought this to oil my vintage sewing machines. It is AWESOME. No more oiling the part you needed plus it's neighbor. The goes right were you need it. The size is good and doesn't leak. Price is good.

Handy for small parts

Been using this oiler for months or a year now. It has helped me oil up guns, knives, and even my sewing machine. Definitely glad I got it since you can refill it when needed and just keep it handy. One of my concerns at first was, I was afraid it would leak, but no leaks in the time I've had this, it feels tough I've dropped it accidentally and still works no damage no leaks.

Purchased this tool for firearms maintenance, and I am impressed so far. I usually kept a tube of the Break Free CLP Precision Shooter applicator in my primary range bag. The applicator was stored in a plastic tubular container to prevent damage and leakage. When I had an applicator tube crack from normal use, I tried to order a replacement but found the product to be discontinued. I eventually found this aluminum precision oil pen, which seems to be a better alternative. Product is made in Taiwan per the packaging. Opening the top cap allows refills. I don't see a volume listed, but it accepted most of an almost-full Break Free CLP Precision Shooter applicator tube. Overall the oil pen seems to be well-made with nice, clean threads, rubber O-rings, and sturdy construction. Pressing the button on top will push what appears to be a plastic rod. That rod connects to a spring-loaded brass(?) plug at the end of the needle. No leaking so far, but I still keep it in the plastic tubular container, which is stored in an available magazine pouch in my range bag. Only change for me is that I cannot cap the tube, as the new oil pen is slightly longer than the tube (5-5/8" vs 5-1/2").

High quality workmanship, but I have trouble getting the oil to come out.

This was a surprise. I wasn’t sure if it would work but this is the best needle oiler I’ve ever used. Allows you to put just one drop in just the right place. No mess, no fuss. Just a great tool that I use a lot. Highly recommended.
