My dog loves them and...
They REALLY ARE for large dogs! Good price also! I bought one for "large dogs" at Chewy & it was like 6" and very small, she had it halfway gone in 45 mins! I had to take it away. This one REALLY is for Large dogs! 7 full inches & thick Bone cut, with the inner bone part out for them. Its a "Two pack" so its good price for them. Split elk antlers! I gave it too her & she grabbed it and went to work on it...She is a large GSD X 74lbs and these bones are perfect and she loves them! Great price as well! Update: I just gave her the second that I ordered & within 10 mins she chewed the ends off? I've notice that since I started buying & made this review, the quality has gone WAY down. The antlers split and break & or chewed up. I get the 7 ". I'm going to have to try different brands. Pay a high price for something that they chew for 10 mins and you have to take it away, and they look at you, like "did I do something"? No... not your fault... The quality has gone down....

My pups LOVE, price is right
My dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE these! They’re bigger than expected and full of marrow, they last a long time. Sometimes they splinter off but my dogs don’t swallow the splinters. The splinters are small and would probably dissolve in the stomach acid. I get them every month because my dogs are strong chewers!

Recommended- Split Antlers Keep My Dog Engaged Much Longer
I’ve tried a lot of chew options for my dog, and these large pre-split antler bones stand out. They’re definitely more expensive than some alternatives, but I’ve found they last much longer than rawhides or other natural chews. My dog strongly prefers the split antlers over the whole ones, probably because the marrow is exposed and easier to enjoy right away. With whole antlers, he tends to lose interest quickly, but these keep him engaged for long stretches of time. I like that the product feels clean—no mess, no strong odor, and no staining on the carpet. They also don’t splinter the way some cheaper chews can. The durability means I don’t have to replace them as often, which offsets the higher upfront cost. Pros: Very long lasting Safer and cleaner than many other chews Pre-split design is much more appealing to my dog No odor or mess Cons: Price is on the higher side Overall, I think these are a great value if you’re looking for a durable, engaging chew that your dog will actually use. I’ll continue buying them because they’ve become my dog’s favorite and they save me money in the long run compared to faster-to-disappear treats.

They were okay
My dogs love chewing on elk antlers (and it helps get rid of tartar and keeps them from chewing on our wood stairs). However, this habit gets expensive, so I tried these split antlers because they’re less expensive. My puppies chewed them up in a day or two, whereas the whole antlers, usually last one to two weeks. So while my puppies loved these, they didn’t last very long. My pups are 67 and 84 pounds, so perhaps with smaller pups, these would be a good buy.

Very Disappointed
I have bought split antlers many times for our 1 y/o lab mix. He loves them. We typically will let him gnaw away for an hr or so, take it away, and give it back later. They'll typically last for weeks this way until he has scraped all the marrow out. This was the 1st time we bought this brand. I liked the price on the 2-Pack--and with the advertising of 7+" and the pictures, they looked very similar to the ones we had been buying. At 1st glance I was a bit disappointed. I didn't measure them, but they appeared much smaller than the pictures would indicate. They are not HALF antlers as shown, but antlers cut in quarters. This sucks, cause our boy usually pins down antler with his paws and scrapes out the marrow with his front teeth. He couldn't do that with these. We gave him the 1st one. Within an hr he had both ends broken off into sharp, jagged edges. Keep in mind, this is the same dog who worked several weeks (sporadically) on other brand split antlers. When I say "sharp" it felt like a serrated knife. We threw that one in the garbage. A couple of days later we gave him the other one. Within 10 minutes the stench was so bad, we had to throw this one out as well. Trust me, it was BAD. We are not squeamish either; we have done cow's ears, bully sticks, yak cheese, tendons, etc.; each one with its own varying degree of odor. We understand that if you are going to give your pet body parts to chew on--you gotta deal with some weird smells. This was so bad it was almost intolerable to stay in the house. My wife came home from work--walked in the front door and went "eww, what's the smell" 2 hours after I threw the thing out. It is now the next morning, and whenever the dog even walks in the room, he reaks of the antler. Very sorry I bought these. Complete waste of $$

Not suitable for aggressive chewers
I have a boerboel who absolutely loved the chewy toy but ended up shattering it into large splinter like pieces after the first few minutes of her chewing on it. I had to take it away because I was concerned about her swallowing them. She is overly fond of swallowing things that make her yack so….not sure if this is something she should chew on. She does fine with regular whole antlers.

No splitering!
Great choice for my dogs! They are split to make it easier for them to chew on. They do not splinter, which is very important to avoid gum damage. They enjoy these as afternoon treats and a fun activity.
