Bestop Supertop for Truck 2 - '19-20 Ranger; For 5 ft. bed

spent hrs trying to open channels without scratching truck or toppercalled Bestop during installation no help at all!!!called their customer service another day they were Closedif I could give their business negative star rating I would!

Hubby put this together. And now he wants one for his other truck too. Very nice easy to install I'm told.

I suspect I received an open box/returned item. There were a couple good scratches on the tailgate bar. The bows had some scratches, and I was missing parts. Specifically, the storage boot, tie down straps, the third tail light and the wiring harness for the tail light.I've seen other reviews that cited difficulty in install, and I suspect mine was one that someone had install issues based on the scratches and just gave up and returned it, minus a few parts. All the fabric and panels were pristine and as new, so guess they gave up before they even got to that part.I found the install to be relatively straight forward and not difficult at all. Took me about 90 minutes installing alone. I would have given five stars for ease of install, but I am very mechanically inclined and I can see some issue that could be potentially difficult. And connect the bow is definitely one of those areas (it was a minor struggle, but I think that's just the nature of the design). Take your time, pay attention and be patient.Have not had it long enough to attest to water resistance. I'll update after a I take it for a couple passes through a car wash.I would not have a problem recommending this product, or buying it again or for our other truck, but I will deal direct with manufacturer next time, and NOT Amazon. Amazon DID however offer me the options of return, replacement or partial refund. so there's that. I opted for the refund which should be sufficient to buy the missing parts from Bestop, but it's an added and unnecessary hassle.For a full price product, Amazon needs to do better on the quality assurance and return inspections, and list and price accordingly. An opene box product should never be listed as new, regardless of condition.

Cold temps in CO cracked the rear window. The company would not warranty it. Their response was you should have parked facing the Sun and we don’t warranty temperature changes under 70 degrees. My topper was only a year old. Do not by from Bestop

Light kit should run through the tow hitch and not require drilling into truck can to wire into brake light. Poor design.

Hard to install.poor instalation instructions. And not water tight

This cover is pretty nice - but not easy to install. Some of the parts were labelled incorrectly - the numbers on the parts did not match the instructions. It took about 4 hours to complete this with 2 people (who are service engineers) Once it is together it looks great. Be nice if it came with screens for the windows.

I got this product and I am missing one of the main parts needed to install. It’s the right rear side rail part #589.54. So now I can not even install this on my truck and just wasted the money on this. Super upset and don’t recommend!!If I receive my missing part my review MAY change. But as of now no , why spend so much on something you expect to receive everything bc of the price but still not sent everything you need. And then have to pay more money to get a replacement part. Ridiculous.
