UPDATED! Great purchase for the price, maybe next time the Pros! [UPDATE] and [UPDATE]
I've been using "around-the-neck" headphones for YEARS, different brands, different features, cheap/expensive, the works. Decided to try something different and so far, not disappointed. Not sure if I'm 100% sold but not disappointed. Ear buds in general are very different from the way neck-phones work and that takes a small amount of change to deal with. These headphones remind me of black versions of a well known brand's headphones. Battery life of the buds is great (as good as my original neck-phones) and since they recharge in the case they can last days on a single charge. Sound quality is good, not great. For me, there's way too little bass and no way to increase it. Volume however is no problem, they can crank the dB's. Passive noise cancelation is decent when the ear pieces are fit snug although talking with one or both in my ears (when audio off) produces a reverberating echo in that ear(s). Touch control is about 80% successful for me, usually not registering one of my taps. Auto-pause/play on removal/insertion is about 50/50 although I'm working on making sure I'm "doing it right" as you have to snug it in and give it a twist although sometimes it works by just taking it out and putting it in. Downside, sometimes it starts playing if I palm the earpiece. As some other users have reported, getting the buds out of the case is "difficult" as there's nothing to really grab except smooth shiny plastic. Perhaps if they added something like those little grabby tabs on the micro hearing aids. I was told that my voice sounds better on these than any previous neck-phones I've used so that's nice! One weird thing that happens sometimes. Since they're separate RF units, every once in a GREAT while they'll loose sync for a split second, even if the phone is in my pocket. More frequent if I'm a distance from my phone. Do they stay in my ears? Yes, yes they do. Matter of fact, just played tennis this morning with one in and never had to give it a second thought. Completely a "ME" thing and not a product issue (more or less) is that they're SMALL, untethered and I have a habit of leaving things and forgetting where they are. No tracking ability (as others might have). So far, really like them. I would recommend them to others (I already have) and if I lost them tomorrow I'd probably get the Pro's as a replacement. (more mic's, easier to remove from case!) I'd LOVE if I could pump up the bass and if they had something to help track them down but again, for the price, these are a fantastic buy! [UPDATE] OK, it's been a while and I've had some more time to work with these. Had to drop a star. Battery lasting less than I thought (actually started recording times and use) and I've been experiencing the un-syncing/drop-out of audio between the two earpieces more and more. [UPDATE} Well, it's time to hunt for something else. The sync dropping between the two headpieces is getting REALLY annoying. Now happens multiple times a day. Talking with these in my ears creates that hum feedback, even with just one - very annoying. Touch controls - don't, at least not a majority of the time. And why does my volume always drop to ZERO when I switch over to these? Tired of the problems and tired of trying to "work it out". There's a product that works great but is "quirky" and then there's this, a product that is annoying and doesn't work well enough to justify its idiosyncrasies. UPDATE Customer support took care of all my problems! Wish more companies had the same care for their clients.

you definitely get a lot of value for the price
I bought these as a supplement, so that I can listen to music lying in bed on my side, to my pair of over the ear Bose QC II 35 headphones that I paid $279 for. To my pleasant amazement, the sound quality of these true wireless buds is great, and very comparable to the excellent Bose (to be fair I was using them at home and did not need the ANC that the Bose provided - the buds with a good seal have passive noise cancellation. They paired instantly with my MacBook Pro right out of the wireless charging case, which also can be charged itself on a wireless charging pad. At a glance they look just like Apple Air Pods Pro down to the design and shape of the case. They ship with 4 different sizes of silicone ear tips, which is very important to get the most precise fit for you - the better the fit, the better your music will sound and the better the passive noise cancellation will be. I wore them today for a marathon house cleaning session, and they're so comfortable I frequently forgot I had them in. As advertised, I got a continuous 6 and a half hours of solid use at 75% maximum volume before I got a message that "battery is low". I was up to 20 feet away from my computer they were paired with and they never dropped a signal. They also paired great with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. You do have to disconnect them from one device to pair with another, unlike my Bose, but for the price, I cannot complain at all about that little inconvenience. I particularly like the feature that if you remove one bud, your music pauses until you put it back in. Also 2 hours use after charging 10 minutes is nice, touch controls are on the surface of the buds, and they never feel like they will fall out of your ears even with frequent head movement. I haven't used them for calls or listening to movies/tv yet, so I cannot comment on that. As far as I know there is no equalizer app for them, but with the sound I am getting between YouTube and Apple Music, I wouldn't need to adjust anything anyway. Overall I am very pleased with them, especially since I got a 20% discount.

Exceeded my expectations
**UPDATE** After owning these for a while, I'm still very pleased with them, but I decided to lower my review for one star due to some pretty nagging issues: 1)The touch controls on these buds are very hit-and-miss. I'd say they work about 70% of the time. Double-taps and triple-taps are finicky, but single taps are a tad too sensitive and activate when I'm taking the buds out of my ears. 2) The so-called "noise canceling" during phone calls is completely non-existent. I don't know if I'm supposed to download the app (I'm not going to do that) but when making a call on them, they pick up nearly every bit of background noise, and my other-end caller can't hear me. I didn't buy these to make phone calls with them, but it is an inconvenience to turn BT off when I get a phone call. **ORIGINAL** I was looking for a budget pair of wireless earbuds to wear at work, and after doing some research I decided on an Earfun pair. I was originally looking at the Pro series, but the Airs were on a great sale, so I pulled the trigger. All I wanted was a comfortable pair of buds to listen to podcasts and audiobooks at work, and these definitely fit the bill. They fit very comfortably, pass the head shake test, and the battery lasts my entire shift. What I wasn't expecting was that these actually sound pretty good for music as well. Not as good as my wired Koss headphones at home, but more than adequate for trips outside. I also appreciate that the case battery not only lasts a few days, but can charge wirelessly, making these extremely convenient to "grab and go." They're also great for watching TV late at night; they paired to my Nvidia Shield no problem. For the price I paid for these, I'm extremely happy. Definitely gonna consider upgrading to the Pro buds at some point.

Best Bang for your Buck!
As someone who works out nearly every day for 2-3 hours, I needed wireless/Bluetooth headphones that would allow me to pump music the entire time, without fear of the headphones dying mid workout. My older, now replaced, headphones would only give me 110 minutes of continuous playtime, which was frustrating. When I researched the EarFun Air 4, I have to admit I was a bit skeptical that these little doodads could do everything they claimed. I am happy to report that these headphones are as advertised. After 2.5 hours of use I am usually down to 50% battery, but keep in mind that is at full volume, heavy equalizer, non-stop use. If you use these for casual listening or audio books I'm sure you will get longer usage. When it comes to charging, I LOVE the charging case. Like seriously, I can put these in their case and by the time i get home (15 minutes) they are fully charged. That makes me happy :) The sound, for me anyway, is great. At a busy gym when I am wearing the headphones I do not hear much else other than my music, which is also something I wanted as my older headphones did not noise cancel. The only two "caveats" I have surround changing the songs via the side bud controls and charging. The former is most likely a me issue, as I have found when I tap 3 times on the right bud it usually pauses because it only feels me do it twice. However, I am usually in motion, so again, I'm probably zigging instead of zagging, and most importantly, this is not a deal breaker that would impact my enjoyment of the product or its rating. Finally, the USB-C cable seems to only work with my fast charger, and not "ordinary" chargers. I tried using it on two other non-fast charging plugins and it didn't light up. I hooked up to my fast charger and I was cooking with grease. So, not sure if that is a me thing, or if you have to use the fast charger for this product, but maybe worth a question to the manufacturer. All-in-all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and happy to have a pair of headphones that I know sound great, will last as long as I need them too, will charge to full in record time, and look pretty snappy to boot. Highly recommend!

Your voice cannot be heard through the ear buds
I liked everything about these buds EXCEPT that during phone calls your own voice cannot be heard through the mic on the buds. When you speak it seems as if your ears are plugged ... well gee, I guess they are. As such the mic on the ear buds that are designed to convey your voice to the other party should also convey your voice to you just like a real phone does. I wrote the company and got a timely reply confirming this limitation is normal yet it is what I consider to be a design flaw. This was my first experience with Truly Wireless ear buds so I don’t know if this is a limitation that is common to all TWS buds. After all, your ears are plugged against ambient noise so the mic should let you hear your own voice. My concern is that I had planned to use these primarily with my laptop or cell phone in a quiet office setting for phone calls, zoom meetings, etc. Too bad because these buds are very good otherwise. They are comfortable, charge quickly (wirelessly) and deliver what I thought was very good audio. However, they are a bit tricky to remove from the charging case. So if you plan to use them for listening to music they would get 4.5 - 5 stars. Again, for my needs, I wanted a set of buds that I could use through my MacBook and iPhone in a quiet setting to make phone calls and these just flopped for that purpose. To re-emphasize, these buds are designed with this limitation - they are not operationally defective. One point the needs emphasis is that if anything deserves 5 stars, it is the EarFun company; they corresponded back to me quickly and were concerned about my situation, and offered a full refund. Non the less, I really wanted to love these things.

Surprisingly good
With a discount on the earbuds, I managed to get them for less than $40. At that price, these earbuds have been very good! During the few days I've had them, I don't think I've had the buds die a single time! That's because they're true wireless, meaning I can use the right or the left bud, while charging the other. On my old earbuds I needed to be using the right earbud in order to use the left - this is my first time having true wireless earbuds. For the sound quality, they sound good. I gave it 5* for the noise cancellation, though it's not supposed to have active noise cancellation - there's a pretty big difference. Anyway, everything around the earbuds sounds pretty muted except for when they're starting to fall out, so that helps with audio quality. Speaking of earbuds falling out, switching to these earbuds took some getting used to, and I still haven't been able to use them without eating without them falling out. I did just switch to the smallest size ear tips, and it's been a lot easier to keep them in than previous earbuds I've used. As for downsides, in addition to them falling out sometimes, I don't really like the buttons so far. I prefer tactile buttons, but these just tell if your finger is over them and can easily get bumped on accident. Also there's magnets in the case that hold the earbuds in, so you can't just flip it upside-down and shake it to get them out, you have to actually take them out one at a time. I found that kind of annoying, though it's not a big deal. Plus, I think I'll get used to the buttons. Since I've only had them for 2 or 3 days, I'll try to remember to update this later. I think they'll stay in better as I get used to them though - pretty sure I was just using ear nubs that were too big too.

Look out AirPods, these earbuds are fantastic! Except for being super easy to crack.
**UPDATE 02/01/2021 Unfortunately I have to lower my rating slightly. They developed an issue where one of the buds battery life diminished to only 40 minutes. I went through all the cleaning and reset procedures with both Amazon and Earfun, but it didn’t correct the issue. Earfun customer support has been great and they are sending me a replacement. Another issue that has developed, which is a design flaw is the plastic they use. The bud fell off of my lap on to a hard floor, and it cracked and a piece chipped off leaving a small hole. No more water proof. Yesterday the other bud fell also and it cracked just like the other one. Now this is not a hard fall at all. From a seated position to the floor was no more than 3’. You would think that they would be able to take a fall from at least standing height without damage. I chalk this up to the quality of plastic chosen. They need to make some changes here or else they will start getting more and more returns. If you have these and have dropped them, check for cracks and holes. They still sound great. ***another update I can’t get the microphone to register above 3% in Windows 10. Everyone said they couldn’t hear me. I switched to my phone and the mics worked great. Something about these buds are not liked by Windows. Original Review*** The sound quality really surprised me for this price point. Nice full rich sound and the bass is deep and clean. In other reviews, users mentioned the highs need more refinement. I can’t decide if it’s the headphones or the headphones revealing the weaknesses of compressed audio. They are not nearly as harsh when listening to a higher quality stream. I have had numerous video and phone calls without any issues. Audio was clean and the mics did a wonderful job. I did a 4 hour online training session in a warehouse with forklifts and pallet jacks zooming by and not once did anyone have an issue hearing me. They are light, and fit securely in my ears. They never fail to pair. Wireless charging capability at this price was also a great feature. The case is a little bulky in your pocket, but tolerable. Overall, a great product and a super price. I can’t wait to see how Earfun refines and improves this product. My one real complaint is that the finish on the buds are so smooth, any amount of earwax, which is unavoidable unless you wipe them down after every use, makes them almost impossible to take out of the case.

Saludos.

Updated comment
Sound quality is better than most earphones in this price range. But it disconnect frequently even when my phone is in jeans pocket and reconnect sometimes which is disturbing while listening music. I never faced such disconnect issues while I use my philips ear phone. Update: reducing further its star to one as its stop working after few month use. No water issue but simply. Never connect or if connect do not disconnect even while in box. 3rd Update: After contacting customer service, they simply asked me video on the issue of charging and later refunded me in full. which is simply incredible. I have bought another earfun product and it's working like charm. I was bit bad in luck initially to received faulty one.

So far, so good
These are budget earbuds, so will review them accordingly. They are comfortable and come with 4 different sizes of silicon buds, the smallest are a good fit for me. I’m 55yrs old so I don’t exactly have quality control hearing, but they sound good to me. They are a piece of cake to connect and so far I haven’t had any technical issues. Not much more to say really.
