Play-Doh Elastix Compound 4-Pack of Stretchy Non-Toxic Colors for Kids 2 Years and Up, Bold Colors

This 'Elastix' Play-Doh is definitely stickier than the regular stuff, and has the potential for a lot of mess if used aggressively. Personally I've found that with a light touch it can still be enjoyable to play with, especially if you let a glob of it sit out for 10 minutes or so before playing with it so the worst of the stickiness dries away.I have a ton of regular Play-Doh and it's fun to mix in bits of regular with this Elastix, it makes it a little less sticky in general and also makes lovely colors. Not sure how much it shows up in my pictures, but mixing with a small bit of white makes really nice lighter colors. When I use Play-Doh I normally make lots of small multi-colored shapes to let dry and decorate the house with, I've also attached a picture of two of the ones I made with this Elastix compound.I obviously have a very different experience than most of the other reviewers, and that may be partly because I'm reviewing this as an adult playing with Play-Doh for my own fun and stress relief and I don't have young kids that would make a huge mess with a compound that is stickier than normal. Anyone with young children should definitely be aware of how sticky this compound can be, although personally even without mixing and letting it sit out I've never had the huge issues with it that others seem to. It does stick to the fingers when freshly grabbed from the container, but letting it sit on the finger for a moment before rolling it between my fingers took care of that easily.

I knew this would be stretchy, but I didn’t realize how sticky and messy it would be. Unlike regular Play-Doh you can’t use pieces of itself to clean it up. This stuff just spreads and becomes part of whatever surface it’s on. Would not buy again.

Super sticky,hard to remove from toys and surfaces

Borderline fraudulent product. This stuff just tears apart and sticks to everything, it is too wet to mould properly. A disgraceful product, this should be culled immediately and for good. Save your money, do not buy this junk!

Do not buy this, it's so awful. It sticks to literally everything, including kids hands and play surfaces. It's like chewing gum, and you can't actually make shapes out of it because it sticks to your hands so badly. I have spent an hour trying to get it off our dining room table today. It got on some of our play doh toys and I seriously have no idea how I'll clean those. It's simply horrible. I would never wish this on any parent!

This 36 year old mama had a hard time with it, I’m thinking the 3+ age on it is a lie. It is a horrible sticky mess that doesn’t come off anything- hands, table, floor, play doh tools, etc. I wouldn’t leave my 3 year old in the same room with it, much less give it to him! Into the trash it went, 5 min after opening.

This product is very messy and sticky. Do not buy this product from anywhere. We had 2 packages and both the same. They went in the trash about 30 minutes after getting them.

Horrible for any child. Requires bath and scrubbing after and takes a long time to get out from under nails....would not buy again

I expected this to be really stretchy and it was basically regular play dough. It was still fun to play with though and my toddler liked mixing it all together.

The clay is very sticky. Wouldn't purchase it again.

Do not recommend, this stuff sticks to everything and does not easily come off. We had to throw it away after one use. Spent an hour scraping it off our place mats and table.
