Best String Silencers Hands Down
APEX Double Down string silencers are hands-down one of the best on the market. Their closest rivals would be the monkey tails manufactured by Matthews Archery - and personally - I recommend the APEX as they're much quieter.Easy to install with minimal impact on your bow speed - these will have you shooting whisper-quiet shots when it counts.

DO NOT BUY
I purchased for my crossbow and they are a pain to install. Then after one broke while installing, I believe it wasslightly torn before installing, the other 3 did not last for the session of about 40 shots. So don't waste your money.I emailed this company about the negative results but heard nothing from them. So customer service did notrespond. Save your money for a product that has better reviews.

Okay.
It's just okay. Doesn't last very long if installed directly on bowstring. The "tails" break off after 150 or 200 shots. However, I will say that they are effective in quieting your bow down, and are fairly easy to install (use needle-nose pliers). I will install another one right before bow season to quiet my bow, guess that's why they give you 4 per pack. I rated 3 stars b/c I am a high volume shooter and they only last a few days.

Doesn't last long.
Works great but doesn't last long. Tears a lot. Lasted about 500 shots. Next thing I know it's torn and then gone. Used on recurve.

Quiets down string noise, not very durable, broke apart with 25-30 shot

Works, but arms tear over multiple shots
Only last one season. Helps tremendously with sound/vibration, but the arms rips off after multiple shots.

Work for noise, but not sure how long they will last
Only put 2 on my string and after a month the top one threw an arm off... I'll see how long they last.... sound wise they do the trick but seems like they won't last long at this pace....** update January 9/2023 one on top part of my string threw off a couple more pieces, so a couple of months... I do shoot a fair bit(about 200 arrows or more each time i go) but with the snow and weather not as often as the summer....
