The Book of God for Children

Just what I was looking for to read the different stories to my sunday school class. They enjoy me reading a story about the lesson we are learning and they are quite pleased with them. came in great condition except for the persons name in the too section other wise now writing or anything else

Water Come Down by Walter Wangerin, Jr. is the best book on baptism that I have ever read. The grace-filled theology is woven in the artist pictures as well as the artistry of Walt's words. The author beautifully connects creation with re-creation and the Creator with the creation, the child and family. It is a fun book to read with children. Walt gracefully leads the reader from "nice-thing-to-do-with-Church-and-children" thinking to a sacrament where adults and children are taken deeper into God's grace and a celebration of God's promise. This book paints a picture of Psalm 8.

Love this book

This is a great book for pre teenagers,introducing kids to the stories of the bible, my grandchildren really like the book.

I love this well-written narrative of the greatest love story of all time. It details the sweeping history of the Children of Israel told in an understandable, chronological, riveting story form, and then ties the New Testament into the Old Testament to help us see the Bible as a cohesive whole. I recommend it as a read-aloud for 8-10 year olds. You might find you understand the Bible as never before through this well-told story book!
