Excellent probiotic! I have high histamine levels in my blood and this is the only probiotic that works for me

Every year, around the holidays, I travel to Asia with a group of friends to take in the far east. Everyone in their groups has their favorite piece of the trip: visiting temples and other cultural sights, hiking in the jungles and mountains or buying electronics at amazing exchange rates and for half the cost in the US. I personally am a gourmet and love going around to eat all the different foods. Now, I love street food, as I can find really amazing quality and tastes that restaurants pushing out the same dishes over and over cannot match. That said, I have gotten my share of GI issues because of this, often putting me on my back (or more likely on the porcelain throne) for a day or so after eating these delectable treats.All to say that I needed to find something that would help with this issue was an understatement and, as my yearly trip got closer and closer, I needed something fast! I saw great review for the Optibac probiotics supplement and eager purchased it, I started taking them about 3 weeks before I left for Asia and continued to take them during the trip and what a difference it made! Not once did I bow down before the porcelain throne, or find myself in gastric distress. I was able to eat all the street food I wanted and it felt like my stomach was made of iron. I would definitely suggest this to anyone who encountered similar issues to mine and wants them gone.

The second day after starting these I ended up with a couple of itchy hives in my left arm a few hours after taking one. The third day I took two and ended up with 9 large itchy hives on my legs and arms a few hours later. Nothing else changed as far as what I eat or my environment besides the addition of these. I stopped taking them and the hives did not recur.I did do the 24 hour yogurt test with these in my Instant Pot and can confirm these contain live cultures.

This box arrived smushed. The bottle was well protected. The bottle is dark thick glass, has a the nicer sort of instruction wrap with lot, MFR, and exp. dates (...so you can loose the box). Every body is different so I won't speak to its effectiveness. I will share it's labeling for you to review. It's nice you take just one a day and they label to talk with your doctor for 2x dose, but it's safe.I've had an item change on me in the far past. At purchase this was called "Optibac Probiotics for Immune Support - Vegan Immune Support Supplement with Vitamin C & 5 Billion CFU, 30 Capsules" This is a new product, so it's description may adjust to suit the product over time. I got really sick with the flu and I knew I need something strong to help me recover and these capsules were perfect. I love that they have so many good bacteria probiotics to help me get back to a normal gut health level. I had to take a heavy round of antibiotics so getting these for the recovery was absolutely necessary. Would recommend if anyone has gotten sick to take these ones you start feeling better, made my recovery 2x as fast as without hem. Would recommend 10/10

The media could not be loaded.  They could put so much more of the product in the canister and not waste so much space...Aside from the waste of space issue (Please reduce, reuse & recycle) everything else is very nice.The outer label peels off completely, in other words it comes off and this makes it easy to lose along with the information on the label, I would suggest a better label or label type.- 1 star for waste of space.- 1 star for needing a better label or label type.+ 3 star for everything else that isn't mentioned above is very nice and very professional.Good day & God Bless...Randall M. I typically take Renew Life probiotics but when I got the opportunity to try these, I figured it was worth a shot. I like them so far. I have a few notes overall:I like that these are 5 billion CFU. The recommendations I received was between 5 and 10 billion for an adult. I like to take the 5 most days and step up to the 10 if I know I am going to be eating lavishly in the upcoming days.The current price of 17.99 is fair so I would purchase them if there were no promotions going on for my other brand. Perhaps they will have sales on these as well but I tend to get decent promotions on the other brand that would bring them to about half the current price of these. Still, it's nice to have a backup option.I did notice a bit of a shift when I switched brands. My stomach grumbled quite loudly for a good part of the day and I had some issues digesting almonds for a couple days. It's likely a difference in strains, and like I said - I've taken the others for a long time so my body likely just had to shift. Since then, no issues.

For years, I have taken a probiotic each day in the belief that it helps with gut health and by extension, improves immunity to colds. I've taken a number of different probiotic products over the years, and this Optibac Immune Support seems like another good probiotic option.I like that this probiotic is provided in small, easy-to-swallow capsules. The capsules are stored in a small glass jar, and they don't require refrigeration (but should be kept out of hot conditions). The packaging doesn't indicate where the capsules are manufactured, but the company is located in the UK and has an office in the US.This probiotic is made up exclusively of a specific strain of Lactobacillus that can survive in the GI tract. Each capsule contains 5 billion units (which is 5 times what my normal probiotic contains). The fact that it only contains one type of probiotic is a small negative though as my doctor indicated that products that offer a mix of probiotics can be more effective overall.I haven't noticed any effects (positive or negative) of taking this probiotic over my normal one. This doesn't surprise me as the effect I am taking it for (immune support) isn't something one would notice on a day-to-day basis.
