Unfortunately I got a food related illness and was sick for over a week. This wiped out all the good bacteria in my system and made me very ill. I read that this particular bacteria was exactly what I needed to restore my balance along with lactobacillus and the other bacteria that starts with a B. I can't remember it right now anyway I started to take this and yes I was very very gassy for the first two weeks after taking it but after that that went away my digestion went back to normal elimination went back to normal I'm not bloated and I'm feeling more comfortable than in years. I trust this company and I will continue to take this to keep my system in balance. Nobody paid me for this review and I received no products for this review. Go forth and feel better.

I have been having a lot of G.I. issues, so I decided to give probiotics a shot. I started with one week flat and found that to be effective, so I decided to go for a bottle. Most of my symptoms have subsided!

I think this has cleared up my eczema, still determining that but very pleased so far.

The price is on the high end for the category but I would not recommend choosing another product purely on price. I have done so very much research on probiotics and tried countless. I have IBS and my digestion can be rather unpredictable regardless of what I do. The last few probiotics I tried gave me awful gas. This one solved that issue but unfortunately it did not make me regular. I’m continuing to take it for now because it’s the best one I’ve found so far.

There are 30 capsules in the bottle. These are small capsules and are easy to swallow. It contains 20 CFU live bacteria cultures. Vegan, natural, gluten-free, and dairy free. I took these with my antibiotic treatments, and it helps me to prevent yeast infection.

I've been trying a number of herbal supplements and probiotics to reduce diarrhea and bad gas from colitis. I give them each five or six days to show me some results. Some help and some don't. It doesn't mean that they might not do some good for someone else with another condition or even do me some good after a longer period of use. So, even if I don't see results from the supplement, I don't give it a rating lower than three stars, also because I can't be sure it isn't doing me some good that I don't see.Optibac is a well-know British producer of probiotics. I have tried three different formulations of their probiotics. Each one affected me differently. This is the third one I am trying, the most potent of the three, and I possibly do see some improvement. Perhaps I'm imagining the improvement, but I am willing to continue taking it. However, it's hard to know whether to recommend it, because everybody has different symptoms and different bodily makeup. At least Optibac is a reputable company, so you know it probably won't hurt you, and it may do you some good.
