Low lumens Edison bulbs
As I'm sure people bought these without bothering to check the lumens, to start - these are not intended to be bulbs for main ceiling fixtures that light up the whole room. The lumens is specified and it is very low.We have several wall fittings for bare edison bulbs in the living room, for dimmer mood lighting in the evenings. These bulbs work perfectly. They're a nice soft amber, low enough lumens that you can look directly at them without hurting your eyes. They would also work well in a bedroom.

These are well made bulbs and give off a really pleasing warm (amber-ish) light and would be perfect for those romantic occasions or simply for people who want to replicate that slightly olde-world atmosphere.Very pleased with mine.
