A great solution with quality equipment.
*** UPDATE 6/23/2023 I just purchased my second EZViz LC1C floodlight camera. They definitely have improved the analytics that goes into the camera motion sensing. You can now filter alarm results by Motion, Person, Vehicle, Sound, and Alarm. I do wish you could use this as selective criteria for activating the light and sending an alert. I am sure they will get there with this functionality soon. They have a new version of the Windows program now as well. Changed my rating to 5 stars!*** * I did a respectable amount of research on floodlight cameras in general before deciding on the EZVIZ LC1C. I just want to say this solution does seem to check all the boxes for my needs. Most importantly it just works and works well. 1. No monthly fees. Buy it and it works. 2. Uses up to 256G memory card 3. Works well with Google Home 4. Android app and Microsoft Windows program! 5. Connects to my Security Camera VMS as a network camera. 6. Crazy good night vision. 7. It is very very sensitive when it comes to motion sensing and PIR. Too sensitive, but you can adjust down both to your needs. 8. Fast notifications regardless of being remote or local. 9. Very bright LED lighting system. 2000L 10. This thing is built like an anchor. Solid and sturdy... and heavy. EDIT: I have some CONS after using this for a while now. Now FIXED! 1. No way to access and adjust advanced camera settings I.E. (Color, Contrast, WDR, etc.) Now FIXED! 2. Can not remove the logo from the video feed or move it to another location on the screen. 3. Huge oversight in that you can not turn the light off and on with Google or Alexa. You have to use the App which is a pain to get at. Now FIXED! 4. Frame Rate is locked at 15 with no way to adjust it. I would like to see an AI version of this! Hope this helps.

ALERT!!! Before you buy!
FINAL UPDATE AFTER 2+ YEARS Wasted far too much time on this unit. It's junk...unreliable to the point of being useless. Even Ezviz app was happy with wifi signal, but no...this sorry excuse for a security camera that offers very little security dropped out twice a werk. This unit is in my garbage can as I write this. It will forever reside where it belongs. With so many decent cameras in the world, do not waste your money on this boat anchor. UPDATE 1 YEAR + After wasting my time on this lump of useless junk for over a year, I'd say I gave it a chance. It never did work properly and I would tell a potential buyer to run from this camera as fast as possible. I would stick with Ezviz, just not this engineering mistake. Lousy connection to wifi even though Ezviz' own speed test says wifi is fine. Constant fiddling and very unreliable. The Ezviz PTZ cameras are much, much more stable. Let's let these rot in an Ezviz warehouse, shall we? Bezos still owes me a refund for this nightmare. Update, 1 month: Camera connects to wi-fi only occasionally. Tried device at two locations 500 miles apart and same results. Very, very poor connections even when EZVIZ app says signal is good for one device in selected location. I bought an EZVIZ C8C and it worked fine in the same locations. The LC1C obviously has issues and you have been warned. Will EZVIZ give me a refund? Probably not even though I have seven of their cameras. Just got off the phone with "Karen" from EZVIZ customer service. Every potential Ezviz customer should be aware that each device requires 2 megabytes of upload speed. So, do not expect 5 devices (10 meg ) to work if you only have 6 megabytes up. Now, I've had 4 running for two years with only 6 meg up, With no real issues In trying to add the LC1C, no dice...won't work. If I had known this before my purchase I could have saved $150 bucks. Bezos owes me a refund.

Great Overall Floodlight Camera
UPDATE: Nov 2021 I purchased a second camera for use in the front of my house. Unfortunately, like many similar designs, this camera is only really useful in a wall-mounted configuration but many floodlights need to be mounted upside down (see pic) under the roofline. In this configuration the cameras angle could not be adjusted enough to get a level view of the surrounding area. I still believe this to be a great overall camera but Ezviz might be well advised to consider either a redesign or a new model that offers better adjustment angles for upside down installations.. The Ezviz floodlight camera has all of the features you want in a product like this, and at a price much more reasonable than some of it's competitors. Installation is a snap if you're even moderately handy and camera setup is equally painless through the Ezviz app. As I've said in other reviews, the overall app experience is probably the weakest feature of the Ezviz line and needs improvement but camera setup works just fine. Once you have the camera up and running the crisp and clear picture it displays will likely impress. Night vision is about average but nothing too special. Like other Ezviz models, this camera will accept a micro SD card for local storage. It can be up to 128 GB, which is a lot and I have heard reports that it will actually support 256 GB but haven't verified this just yet. The camera offer 3 different motion zones. I found the larger area selections produced a lot of false alarms, especially at night, so I keep mine on the lowest setting or disabled. I'm sure if I spent a little time with it I could get this fine tuned for my situation so I'm not faulting the camera at this point. About the only complaint i have about this camera [other than the app experience] is that it's not at all tamper proof. A motivated and reasonably intelligent person could have this camera uninstalled and in their backpack, duffel bag, etc within a couple of minutes. Maybe Ezviz felt this was OK as a camera like this would be mounted near the roof [and so safe from intruders] but this is not always the case. Mine is mounted over my rear porch and easily accessible. My Ezviz DB1 doorbell cam contains security screws that can only be removed with the tool provided with the unit. There's no excuse for not implementing something similar on this, one of their most expensive models. Despite some room for minor improvement this is easily one of the best bargains to be had in flood cameras. It checks all of the important boxes and does so without cloud fees, unless you prefer remote storage and opt in.

Overall picture quality is great, compliments my other cameras.
PROS: Ability to read license plates easily. Night vision is clear from afar. Ability to record to an sd card (a rare feature with many cloud enabled security cameras). Motion sensor is respectable - not overly finicky. Light is powerful. Overall wireless connection is effective. CONS: SLOW notification, this is major reason I will not add additional cameras from Ezvid. Setup was painful, took several retries to connect. The APP on the phone is so-so - not as easy to navigate as it should be. $5 a month for cloud service for 1 camera is just ok. This will mainly be utilized as a motion sensor light with bonus video saved to an sd card overlooking a driveway to my house. If the thieves are smart, they can simply smash and grab the entire camera - but i sense that people are not too familiar with this brand or sd capabilities. I have Blink cameras set up everywhere else, but i despise Blink's night vision. My Blink models are also a few years old at 720p - i'm not exactly impressed with their video quality so i opted for Ezviz. There may be a full 30sec to 1minute delay before Ezviz tells you something passed by your camera. My wifi connection to it is fine, but this delay is too slow for me. The Blink camera notifications are instant which may be assisted by lower quality video. The night vision on the Ezviz is impressive (you can make out excellent details such as license plate numbers from afar but the brightness of the light will wash out any details up close). Overall this product is good, but not great.

Working Great
I have two different types of EZVIZ security cameras, and I would recommend EZVIZ brand. Both devices display on my EZVIZ app which makes it easy and convenient to monitor, with no additional fees. You can adjust the light brightness on the floodlight which is very nice feature. It does cover a small to large area for motion which you can adjust, but I wish the range adjustment for the light linkage offered a little more detailed adjustment. I do not use CloudPlay so I purchased a memory card should I want to store any video clips for future reference. Otherwise, the device has an Event View feature that stores movement taken throughout the day/night that you can view. I am happy with EZVIZ and would recommend.

Easy to use
I like how easily the cameras are to set up. The cameras do require wifi to work properly. The micro sd storage allows for review of video recorded in the recent past. The sd card is allowed to a maximum of 128gbs and will create more storage for more videos of the past. They do offer a storage cloud that you do have to pay for to use it. No subscription needed to use the app with the cameras. There is a desktop app and smart phone app. Both work great.
