2Pin nVIDIA Video Graphics Card HDMI SPDIF S/PDIF Audio Cable New

Works as it should, gave new life to my older computer. My tv doesn't have a pc audio input and my computer's motherboard doesn't have a spdif output header for transmitting audio to the graphics card (Nvidia Quadro FX 3800 workstation gpu) so I couldn't get audio out of the DisplayPort. This cable along with a new sound card, an Asus Xonar DG solved that problem magically. I am not sure if it will output 5.1 surround over the DisplayPort to HDMI cable but right now I have it plugged into my tv that has stereo audio and it works perfectly.

Did what it was for. The mobo header side was split out into individual jumpers making it a little more difficult to install, but perhaps the flexibility is needed for certain pinout configurations. As it is, with an old HP Benicia mobo I got sound out to the DVI port on an old Nvidia GTX 260, through a DVI-HDMI dapter to an HDMI cable to a TV... which is what I needed to make happen so we can watch ESPN3 and other computer/internet video with sound from the TV.

Finally fixed the issue I had trying to push sound through an DVI-HDMI cable out of the Nvidia graphics card to the TV!!As long as you have a decent knowledge of computers, you should be able to install it and get the sound to pass through your TV speakers!If you are having trouble, try looking into your Nvidia graphics console under audio settings.

Works exactly as it should to connect 2pin spdif out connection on motherboard to 2pin spdif in connection on NVidia video card.I didn't have any issues with the seller/shipping...so as long as they don't give away my credit card info, they deserve a passing grade!NOTE: I saw one review on here that said he was mad that the cable he got didn't match up with the picture, as he was hoping to get the one with the pins split on one end. This didn't matter to me, but I did get the one with split pins on one end. So...here is a tip: if you need split pins, you should probably try to reach the seller to see if they can confirm which version they have before you order (the picture on here now shows the pins together).

It does work as advertise I did not have any issue after installing it. I just wish it had some basic / general instruction. I had to look in the internet to install the 2 end of the pins to the sound card.

I ordered this cable and the price was changed 6 days later (I hadn't even received the cable yet), The seller states that they do not offer to pay you back the difference (it was a dollar but still).The cable didn't even work, even after 3 hours of trying to get it to work. It is the correct cable, I performed the correct steps multiple times but still no luck. Not a great buying experience.

Ok the short and quick version, simply put, the cable was exactly what I needed to get from the audio headers, to the video cards in order to get audio to the HDMI output of the card. Simple quick and easy installation, no software set up, or anything of that nature. Just insall the cable and go.

I ordered this one, for the reason the add pictures shows it to be a split end tip on one end. The item received how ever was not a split end, and there for the image is very misleading. So if you order this, expect to get a non split end part.
