Nice beginner skates
These skates arrived on time and in good order. My grandsons have used them a few times and they fit well and seem to help them learn how to skate. I think they are a bit easier than single blade skates.

This was a game changer for my 6 yo. The double blade gives lots of stability. Super happy with this purchase.

Serve their purpose
Purchased these starter skates for my 4 year old son through an Amazon Warehouse deal. He absolutely loves them. My only issue is the softness of the material(my assumption on why they were returned). I could have purchased the hard-frame skates but for something he is only going to fit into for 1 season they were a bit expensive. A non-skate issue that would have helped counteract the softness is that my sons skin is extremely sensitive so I wasnt able to tie them as tight as you normally would with ice skates. He was able to keep his ankles straight and only had trouble after a bit. Could tell his ankles were understandably getting tired from a new exercise. But overall they worked well, only issue was more child specific than anything.

Perfect for beginners
They were perfect for us. We got them for 3 different kids to learn to skate and the skates worked very well. True to size. The double blades made it so that the kids could balance without clinging onto us. Blades were dull, but that worked well for us.

Not very supported in the ankle
I like the double blades for balance but I couldn’t get them tight enough around the ankle. I should of bought hockey skates however they will due until the boys get older.

Perfect for my 4yo
These are perfect for my 4-year old for family skate night. The size was just right, his usual size. The double blades make it easy for him to stand, walk, or “skate.” He never complains about his feet hurting.

No ankle support
They were so flimsy they wouldn’t support his ankles and they just caved in. Not a well made product.

Kids are more confident skating in them at first but you can’t really progress your skills
Arrived quickly. And since they have double blades kids were able to skate instantly. However, after using them for a month I am thinking about getting single blade skates instead as you can’t really progress on the double skate. They are pretty slow.... will see how the transition goes for single blade. But overall I think you can skip double blades and go single right away.
