Craig Frames 21307201 11 x 14 Inch Aged Copper and Black Picture Frame Matted to Display an 8 x 10 Inch Photo

This past 1-2 years I finally gotten around to framing my giant collection of stuff that needed framing. I have purchased a few hundreds of frames of various sizes this year and most are generic and OK. Good for low quality photos and prints and stuff. There are some things where you want a good frame. And for those I have generally used a custom frame builder who builds to order and ships them to me freight. This is very expensive and takes a couple months.I had some pieces I wanted to frame that weren't high quality as they are reproduction prints and not originals, so I didn't want the expense of a custom frame and saw these frames. I ordered 2 in different sizes (24x36 and 24x36 inches) and they arrived with Amazon Prime 2 day delivery which by itself is amazing for frames of this size.The foam backing is of sufficiently high quality and thickness to take the little metal press downs to keep it together. Came with a basic white matting with a nice interior bevel as well as a good cardboard stock piece for rigidity behind the piece. The acrylic is thin but looks great. And it is protected on both sides with protective film which is perfect. It also came with wire-hanging mounting hardware. Came with the loops, screws, metal wire itself, and the J bracket with nail. Everything you need. This was an unexpected surprise.Then the packaging itself. My goodness. It came strapped to a shaped and formed piece of cardboard that made the entire frame float in the inside of larger packaging with an inch or so of room on the large face and a few inches of space to be compressed and destroyed by the mail carriers. The outer box was then strapped as well. This is the best packaging for a frame I have ever seen outside of custom frames. Other frames I ordered in the past had shattered glass, broken corners, and all sorts of problems from minor to major. They seem to realize it is cheaper to make good packaging and send it out once.The frame itself appears to be solid wood, albeit a lower grade soft wood but what do you expect for this price? Nobody will notice and you'll be long dead before this wood warps or anything. The colouring for the frame itself is applied quickly and maybe even by hand. You can see on the back of the frame (hidden against wall) that the colouring was applied with an overbrush and it is not even. Usually if done by a robot, it is much more even. This looks like a human did it, which adds a nice touch. The routing of the frame itself was perfect. Obviously done by a machine in long strips before cut to size and put together. The corners came together at perfect 45 degree angles and the sides were attached together with very high quality staples.Seriously these are made just as well as my custom frames for a fraction of the price. As soon as these were delivered and I was amazed by them, I ordered another 6 frames from this company. I am extremely impressed, and I don't impress easily.

I bought two sizes, this 12x18 which is pictured here and a larger one to frame a present for a friend who is inspired by Meghan Markle’s philanthropy. I ordered the bronze matting from Etsy (the frame comes with white matting) to complement the colors of the art work from Tim O’Brien Prints, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how this turned out. I can’t wait to ship it to her!

This is an extremely nice frame. The mitered corners are very good, without gaps or chips. The finish is flawless. What was most impressive was the packaging. It is difficult to describe how well it was protected against shipping damage. I will continue to purchase Craig frames.

The silver color is true to the advertised picture and complements my decor and other picture frames. This was the only correctly sized frame I could buy for this price without having to order a custom frame. Make sure to measure your picture very carefully as there is actually very little overlap with the matte, in my case. I'm very pleased with the importance it lends my historical picture, and the eye is drawn toward it as one enters the room.

Well I had a custom limited print that needed a new frame because the old one had fallen off the wall and broke. This is a nice looking frame with a single Matte. Frame is light but sturdy. The Plexiglas looks fine and will pass for glass as long as you don't scratch it. You can expect the usual problems with lining the picture up properly. This is not the frames fault its just that any single matte frame it is a pain to get the picture lined up properly. Frankly if you want a heavy duty professional frame with double matting I suggest you go to a frame shop or Photography shop. If you want a decent frame at low cost this is a good option. I would also like to mention that the shipping was super fast.

My covid vacation projects were spent by hours of painting a couple of pretty intricate paint by number paintings. I was happy enough with how they came out and decided to frame them. To get them professionally done was way too expensive (hundreds of dollars) so I went in search of the perfect frames to do it myself. I found these beauties and I could not be happier with how they came out. I personally think they look very expensive and like they were professionally done. Love these frames!

I am a photographer and am always searching for exquisite frames to frame my photography. This frame is absolutely amazing, very heavy, beautifully made of wood and the black and silver make almost any photograph look very professional. I will keep buying these and you should too. Very firmly packaged and arrived in pristine condition.

Beautiful frame that really does whatever print or photo you're putting inside justice. My only two suggested improvements would be having the hardware (but not the picture wire) come pre attached and a slightly higher quality, bevel cut mat. That said, beautiful frame, and really sets the art off.In the picture attached, you may see that the print is warped. That is NOT due to the frame, it was damaged in shipping and will be replaced with an undamaged print soon.
