EasyPour Table Top Epoxy Resin Kit - 1 Gallon, 1:1 Crystal Clear

This screen protector fits perfectly and was easy to install. The screen stays clear, touch sensitivity is excellent, and it provides great protection from everyday scratches. Very good quality for the price, and I would definitely purchase it again.

The EPE EasyPour Epoxy kit arrived on schedule and worked perfectly. I’ve used various self leveling epoxy products over the years to provide a clear, hard and easy to clean surface. In this case I was refinishing several 36" diameter high top tables for a local establishment. The final product met all the wishes of the establishment’s owner as well as my own expectations. A couple notes that may help new users. First, bubbles. Yes you can get bubbles in the epoxy after you’ve poured the product and it’s leveling. Remember that bubbles can form when the resin is poured over any porous surface. This includes wood, concrete and a lot more. To mitigate the problem the best option is to seal the surface first. Options for sealing wood, my projects, include use of a good oil-based polyurethane. A water-based product may work as well but I’ve used oil-based sealers as I am sealing over an oil based stain. Alternatively, you can also mix a smaller batch of the epoxy resin, pour it on the project surface and drag it out to seal the surface. Whatever sealing technique you use just make sure that the surface is well sealed. For polyurethane I generally use a minimum of 2 coats and have applied up to 4 coats if I know the wood is particularly porous. Removal of any bubbles that may now form in the final pour is easy, just add a little heat from a heat gun or hair dryer. Second, temperature. The EPE EasyPour Epoxy specifies at minimum temperature of 75̊F. When checking the temperature I’ve found that it’s best to check the temperature of the item to be epoxied as well as the air temperature. If you’ve had the project item stored in a different location at a lower temperature allow the item to come to a stable temperature of 75̊F before starting the pour. This helps ensure the best final product. The EPE EasyPour Epoxy on-line instructions are reasonable. The biggest deficiency I found was related to computing the volume of epoxy you’ll need for a project. In my cases, I’m working with flat surface tables, some relatively simple math will get you the appropriate volume. As a note, I always use metric measurements for the calculation of epoxy volumes as it’s overall a little easier to convert the surface area/volume for mL instead of ounces. Also, when I compute the required volume I generally add an additional 25 to 30% to cover the fact you can’t get all the epoxy out of the mixing container and there will inevitably be some material that will run over the side of the project surface and be lost. 1. Calculate Surface Area Circle: π r2, 3.14 x radius squared Rectangle: L x W, length x width 2. Calculate Project Volume Surface area x depth 3. An example: 36 inch diameter table top with an epoxy depth of 1/16" or 0.15 cm 36" diameter top = 90 cm diameter = 45 cm radius Pi, 3.14, times 45 squared, times depth; 3.14 x 2025 x 0.15 cm = 955 cubic cm, approximately. Add 25% for extra and you’ll need to mix about 625 mL of resin and 625 mL of hardener.

I was very surprised. I go through gallons of resin each month and I thought I'd give them a try, you won't find better pricing. There were a ton of bubbles during stirring even though I went slow and when I poured it all out they disappeared. Not one bubble in my painting!!! Very clear glossy finish. Mixing time says 5 minutes instead of usual 3 but it was worth it. I will be buying again!

I believe this resin is an excellent value if you have experience using resin which I do. It cures faster, shines brighter, and dries just as hard. I am an Alumilite fan. However, I have used many other brands that were awesome as well. This resin bubbles like no other. Admittedly, I did not heat it because I did not wish to use yet another container for the small project. The bubbles were insane. I was laughing literally as I was mixing the components because colorful bubbles were rising into the atmosphere. Just hilarious. Anyway, I posted the picture so interested prospective buyers could see what you will get if you are not experienced enough to torch the heck out of your projects to remove the millions of bubbles. What you are looking at is the cured, spill over resin I had no need to torch that adhered to one of the cups I used to elevate a piece. Just wow! My projects look amazing; no cured bubbles at all. That is why I gave the product four stars overall. I fear beginners will be terrified because just a modicum of pre-use research on YT will inform them, they are in real danger of burning their resin or setting something in their home on fire, as I did in the early days, because of the heat needed to eradicate the bubbles. Be careful!

This resin is by far one of the best. I have used some of the more expensive stuff and was pleased with it, but for half the price I get the same if not better results. It does take a little longer then most to cure but I'm ok with that because the bubbles problem is virtually non existent with this stuff. Holds micas, glitters, inks, and foils so well. Hardens perfectly. Leaves a nice clean flat back on most of my projects. Ordering another gallon today.

As a beginner the decision on which epoxy to try was difficult with so many choices. I decided to go with EasyPour Epoxy for several reasons. I liked that it was sold as a kit with everything you needed to get started on a project. After doing some research, the pictures from other customers looked amazing and beginners were having great success from the get go! The price was also a consideration and for everything included in one kit this seemed like a great way to start. For my first project I chose an easier one casting coasters. They came out great and were crystal clear, I was very pleased. Then I worked on casting a few side tables like the one pictured. For this particular project I was inspired by my Labradoodle "Oreo", it seems he loved it as well! All three of the tables I worked on came out great, the consistency of the epoxy made it so easy. The instructions are simple to follow especially for someone new to this. Best of all the customer service is outstanding, all my questions were answered quickly. I always felt the customer service at EasyPour had my back for any assistance. For these reasons I strongly recommend EasyPour, I am planning more projects now and would not look elsewhere, this is the one!

I was really impressed with this brand. Iv used several other epoxies before but I can’t believe the value for the money in this kit. The tools that it came with were extremely convenient. Having two tubs, one to mix in and one to pour the mix into after mixing, I know that’s to make sure no un mixed resin around the edges of the first mixing tub make it onto my work. However, Iv never seen that included in a kit this price. I honestly kinda impulse bought this one because it was the cheapest I saw. I just needed the chemical. I didn’t read to much about it. I wasn’t expecting all the extra convenience they threw in. They also give you a rubber spatula style stir stick that flexes at the tip to get into all the corners of the pot you’re stirring in. I hadn’t thought of using one of these. Works a lot better than a wooden paint stick! I can’t believe this kit is cheaper than the rest. Everything cured perfectly. Nicely done EasyPour! One purchase made a believer outta me. I strongly recommend. I bought EasyPour for a coffee table top project Iv been working on. It’s end grain bamboo butcher block style... sorta. I made the table top shortest in the center and slowly step up as it gets wider and longer so that’s its tallest around the edges. This way when I poured epoxy over it, the epoxy would be much thicker in the middle. My plan was to tint the epoxy blue so there would be more color in the center since the epoxy was thicker there. It worked out great. I’m super happy with how it turned out. This epoxy worked flawlessly. Attached some pics.

I thought I'd give this a shot since it costs less that what I usually use and wanted to try it. All I can say is...you get what you pay for! I have had to redo a project TWICE because of the amount of bubbles the mix produces even after it has set for a while and looks clear. It's super thick after mixing so bubbles don't get much of a chance to escape. You MUST degas the mix before pouring! If you don't have a vacuum pump, don't bother with this. You MUST use a vacuum pump to degas this. I've been making epoxy projects for years, my fault for trying to save a buck.

I got this because the price was right and I needed something that can be for big and small projects. Extra mixing cups and a silicone spatula/spreader is a bonus. I was quite pleased to see that there wasn't much bubbles at all after mixing, that's making sure resin and hardener are at the right temperature beforehand. Cures in the time it's supposed to, no issues at all. I didn't smell any harsh odors, just a small amount but that's normal. I also was trying out a new mold and I love how it turned out. Overall, this resin is nice to work with. The price is right for a 1L kit with the bonus cups and tools. I will definitely recommend this.

Best stuff I've ever used!! My old man says this is the real epoxy. The stuff that smells works amazing! So, this does smell. But, it's only the harder that smells. And it's not overpowering smell. Just alittle bit. It does get bubbles but I just used a heating gun to pop bubbles and boom. Perfect.

Used for the top of a black table top to make it a gloss black finish. A tip : watch some videos on how to use epoxy. A useful tip is using a heat gun to pop the bubbles. That worked perfectly! Great product, would recommend and would use again.

Not too bad it's a little thick and has lots of air bubbles. The fix for the bubbles is to spray the resin with 99% alcohol after you pour it. All the bubbles dissappear. It seems to harden ok. I make clocks so I need a strong durable resin. I would recommend this for the price.
