Excellent read, filled in a few blanks and in many instances provided a different perspective. Well worth buying for the amateur historian.

If you're knew to the history of the LRDG, this book gives a fascinating overview. If like me, you already knew a little about these incredible men and their exploits, this book enhances and adds to that knowledge. But, the most interesting aspect of the book is the account of the recent retracing of some of the routes and locations involved in the WWII missions run by the LRDG; it really brought it all to life.

A gem of a little book. Well worth it. Obviously a labor of love by the authors who really and literally went out of their way to write it. Well done!!!
