Great tablet for general light duty use. Works well for my purposes.
This seems to be a very nice tablet for my use. I use it mainly for portable data entry into an MS Excel program and running PowerPoint programs. The office program that comes on the tablet is adequate and it will run the Excel & PowerPoint programs but some features are lost. I downloaded the free Excel & PowerPoint apps and they run the programs fine. I set up the programs on my desktop & then transfer to a USB flash drive to load into the tablet. I also downloaded a free file manager app which is much better than the Android file manager. I found out you can download regular fonts onto the tablet so you're not limited to the fonts already there which are quite limited.I haven't used it a lot for email or for surfing the web although it appears to be fairly fast in that area. I would not call this a power tablet but fine for casual use. RE complaints about the keyboard, it is not made for 2 hand power typing - more like 2 finger typing. Its a lot better than trying to use the on-screen keyboard.RE Amazon customer service: About week after I got the tablet, the keyboard stopped working. I tried several times & things to try to get it to work. I sent a note to Amazon saying it was defective and they quickly sent me a return mailer to replace the tablet. The day I received the mailer, the keyboard started working again. Wasn't sure if it was a hardware or software problem. I didn't return it. I've had 1 time again that it stopped working but was able to get it working again pretty quickly. I'm about to conclude that it is a software glitch and not a tablet problem.I am really quite pleased with the tablet.

I have to say it is very amazing for the price
I have to say it is very amazing for the price. Mine has Android 6.0 aka Marshmallow the processor performance is decent. I can do just about everything with the Viking Pro that I can do with my LG V30. I play games and movies from Vudu, Crackle and Amazon Prime. The only thing that is lacking is the camera's. But even so it is good but not close to my V30. I use a Micro SD and an external iHome keyboard and mouse with a Sabrent 4-Port USB Hub I can even use this to print to my HP Laserjet printer through USB. The HDMI works perfect to my ASUS VG 248 monitor. The Bluetooth works with everything from headphones, earpiece, external speakers or Uconnect in my vehicle. The Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz only as best I can tell but it doesn't miss a beat. I am seriously thinking of buying another and so far I have no regrets at all and I would recommend this unit for beginners or pros. I do suggest that with most all devices with a screen to take out the accident insurance that was offered: Asurion 13 Month Tablet Accident Protection Plan ($100 - $124.99) that costs $10.65. Try it and be surprised:)Sold by: Asurion, LLC $10.65 also this case. It's cheap and performs just like the price
Bought this used for $70 and I wonder if I should've spent the extra money to get a kindle fire. I wasn't expecting much I was going to use the tablet exclusively for school, but it fails to accomplish even some of the most basic of tasks you would think any electronic device nowadays would be able to do especially a tablet. I cannot stream youtube videos because the video and audio are out of sync and its pretty noticeable. Not only that but if you have ANY app in the background including something like facebook messenger and open another app, 99% of the time the tablet will freeze, and proceed to restart after a period of time. Even when you'e using just 1 app it's insanely slow. I've been trying to get some use out of it for school but just trying to open google drive and open up a file takes at least 5-10 minutes. If there's one thing I actually like about the damn thing is the keyboard. It feels nice to type on and surprisingly isn't TOO small. I thought of the trackpad as a plus when considering buying it but since it can't be disabled like a regular laptop it can get annoying if you type with your palms on the keyboard as it will start randomly moving the cursor around. The absolute worse thing though is the inability to connect to wifi properly. Seems like a pretty important thing to be able to do correctly no? Well, find something else because this tablet will refuse to stay connected to a network for more than 20 seconds. It makes it almost impossible to get anything done. I say almost because my only workaround is tethering my phone to it with a usb and using my mobile data plan. Surprisingly this works albeit very slowly just like a tablet. I'm currently studying at a University so the internet can't get any better than where I'm at and I have no other devices that can't connect to the wifi here. The battery life is surprisingly long as well, but there's really no point to long battery life if you can't do anything. I wouldn't even try to play any games on this thing. Overall I got what I paid for. Lesson learned, try to spend a little extra when considering things like tablets to buy.

Good... for the price
Good for the price. It's pretty inexpensive, so I'm giving it a break. The keyboard isn't bad, takes a little getting used to, but I have no complaints about it. The trackpad works well also.My biggest complaint is that the battery is unpredictable. Sometimes it will be fine in stand-by for days, but other times, the battery will show nearly full, and I'll walk away for an hour and come back to it refusing to power on; the batter is now dead.My second complaint is that it's a little slow. All I use it for is to view pdf documents and making notes using OneNote, I don't feel like that should tax the cpu much, but it does respond slowly sometimes.Overall, it's a good buy for the price, but don't expect to have a replacement for your high-powered laptop here.
