Probably works well - was too small for me

Excellent Quality, but Rather Useless...
I should have looked closer before purchasing, and purchased this 6 inch tool. The quality is great, and it feels very sturdy. This being said, however, the very small size makes it not very useful (at least for me).

Perfect size for arthritic hands
I bought these to carry in my purse and car. I can't open anything anymore bare handed. These are a perfect fit for me.

Poor corrosion resistance.
I have channel locks i bought new 50 years ago that still look new with no rust. These have started to rust after being inside a tool box inside a air conditioned garage after 3 months. Bad cheap low nickel alloy. Like everything else about them.

Loose
I bought these to open water bottles. I have arthritis. The kid that made these didn't do a very good job. The rivet is too loose. I'll get it to work. The Chinese are laughing at us.

Every OW owner needs a decent pair of channel locks - these are it!
I got these cuz I need them to do work on my Onewheel Pint...I chose these specifically for value, size - they fit in my OW too kit pouch! - and I have other Irwin tools that are sturdy under my abuse! The jaws fit in tight OW places and are compact. Definitely glad I got these!

Needs anvil & hammer for final assembly
This would have been a decent buy for a budget quality tool had Irwin given the rivet holding the two handles together another punch to tighten the gap. Fortunately I've got an anvil and a good hammer and a couple of whacks solved the problem.

Produto pequeno e fica bem armazenado na mala de ferramentas, não é a melhor ferramenta da categoria, mas serve bem para usos gerais. Acho que o ajuste das posições poderia ser melhor, o alicate fica com um pouco de jogo, atrapalhando um pouco o encaixe mais preciso, mas é uma boa compra. Bom material construção geral razoável
