Love the pro controller!
The Nintendo Pro Controller is my favorite controller to date. Which is strange because the Joy-Con Controller is my least favorite controller to date. I would not consider a switch without some sort of "normal controller," and I would just plan on adding the cost of one into the purchase of the console. And while there are many 3rd party controller options, the Nintendo Pro Controller is VERY good, so don't let the cheeseball Joy-Con sway your decision. The controller feels dense and solid, and does not creak. In general, it does not feel cheap. The layout is very similar to the XBOX controller, but I cannot speak too much beyond that as I do not have an XBOX controller to hold in my hand. Comparing it to the PS5 controller, the "dashboard" (what I'm calling the area where joysticks and buttons reside) of the Nintendo Pro Controller is every so slightly less wide. The joystick and button locations on the Pro Controller are in better locations (my opinion), and the "grips" are slightly smaller in circumference. It is a slightly smaller controller than the PS5 controller, but still larger than the Joy-Con. If you have massive hands, you may need to consider a bigger 3rd party option. I have average size hands (male, large glove) and I have a preference of the Pro Controller over the PS5 Dual Sense, but find both to be a non-issue during gameplay. This one is a Super Smash Bros Ultimate themed version, but the layout and function is the same. It is pretty cool that Nintendo occasionally releases themed variants. Themed versions typically sell for a little more, and there is usually higher demand. I recommend any Pro Controller 100%.

Left joystick drifting out the box
The controller itself looks great. Though I submitted it in for a return because the left joystick was defective out the box. That was heartbreaking because my current pro controller had very slight issues that were only noticeable in smash, yet this controller was not only drifting on the left stick, but also had the same other minor issue my current remote has. I do really like the limited edition look, and when you pair it with your switch, your console shows the remote as its limited edition colors. I always like that. I reordered the same remote from a different seller and am receiving it today. Fingers crossed that this one works flawlessly!

Package came quickly and undamaged/unopened
Its a Switch Pro controller, so you should know that these controllers are already a tad overpriced but you get what you pay. The reason for the price tag being higher is that the Smash Pro controllers are rarer which is why its 30+ more than a regular one.More importantly the seller sent my package quickly, unopened and, undamaged so I am more than satisfied.

Amazing gift.
My boyfriend was ecstatic when I got this for him for Valentine’s Day. I was so surprised when he opened it immediately and began to play. He said that the buttons felt nice and that the analog sticks were smooth. It’s literally the only controller he uses now. I’m glad I spent the money. If he’s happy, I’m happy too!

Average Controller, Well Above Average Price.
Pros:Fantastic battery lifeThe best controller for the switch.Cons:Ludicrously expensiveVery weightyBulky.D pad feels a bit weird too.Cable it comes with is too short, and why no plug with it?Internal battery. Sure now it seems good but 1 year down the line the battery will be shot and you'll have to blow another 65 quid on a new controller. No audio jack.Definitely the worst controller out of the 3 major consoles. It's just an odd shape. I take it it's because they've put a massive battery inside but it's actually a bit awkward to use the shoulder buttons properly because of it's shape.Overall: It's not the worst controller in the world it's just the other 2 main consoles do it better, and really this should be £20, not £65. Not to mention one should really come with the switch as it's pretty much an essential to play proper single player games.

The best controller available for Nintendo Switch
The controller is really comfortable to hold and has excellent battery life at around 40 hours from one charge. It's the best controller available for the Switch and I much prefer it to the PS4 standard controller.

Excellent quality, feels great in the hand and very responsive.
This is now my favourite controller. In my opinion, the joycons on the switch felt quite flimsy, and were prone to odd noises and feeling overall quite cheap. This controller is the opposite: it's high quality, the rumble is great, every button is satisfyingly clicky and tactile, and the sticks are equally satisfying to push. So far, I've barely mis-inputted a thing. If you're buying this, presumably you own Smash Bros Ultimate (and are an individual of distinguished taste). In my opinion, it's great for that: There's barely any latency, especially when you consider the latency problems reported with the official GC controller and adaptor. With jump set to L, short and full hop aerials, usually the woe of cheap controllers, are a breeze, and grabbing and shielding is effortless. In terms of battery life, when charged fully, it charges quite quickly and will long outlast the battery life of the Switch itself.

Poorly Built
Beautiful controller with a sleek design. It’s great when it works. It is the fourth Switch controller I have purchased and the fourth to be faulty.I have SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii and Wii U controllers that all still work to this day - 100% brilliant products. The Switch? I’ve had two sets of joy cons and two Pro controllers (including this one), each one with a glaringly obvious fault, in my experience that means 100% of the controllers I have purchased for the Switch are poorly built products.

A really well crafted control with a simple design.
I've been a long serving fan of the Smash series and ever since Smash for the Switch was announced I had to have the matching controlled and to no suprise it is a lovely piece of kit. The design is simple yet elegant and I am very pleased to have picked it up.Any smash fans out there it's a must buy, for anyone looking for a new control you can in no way go wrong here.
