Looking to use these for house plants, what size inner pot fits inside this please?

Hi, I have a 9cm base inner pot - with a little room to spare. I love these pots - nice looking too but given the base size I have found the pot is a little too tall! Even so, the plant I put in is now fully grown and it looks great.

Is the 15cm width measurement from the outer rim or inner rim?

The 15cm width of our small pots is the widest part of it, across the top. Its not a precise measurement, and from outer edge to outer edge it is more precisely 15.5cm. The pots are tapered.

I didn't get the trays ,as I kept my plants in their pots and stood them on gravel so didn't need to make holes in the pots.
