China Girl [Blu-ray]

I fear the casting director spent all their budget on Annette, since the other characters are very much B or even C movie standard, and the editor also should have cut great chunks of tedious continuity shots. There are some nice sessions with Annette, who looks very sexy in her specs. This blue ray is not all that special, since the HD is disappointing for a vinegar syndrome transfer.

A very colourful and fast moving film starring David Caruso, but not the best role for him. He made a good job from a poorly scripted part, but the whole film was lacking in impact. Not the fault of the actors but it has been added to my growing Caruso collection and will get watched again. It contains the usual love and violence of family feuds and division resulting in tragedy based on Romeo and Juliet, but Caruso was not cast in the right part or on screen enough, and apart from him not a big name production.

a very nice love story

I find this just a violent movie. There is nothing original in it, a part from the unusual Italian-Chinese link set in New York. For the rest is just blood and street gang fights.I got this movie because of its positive reviews, but I am disappointed.

Great movie and story line with tragedy.

A very powerful movie.It is easy to understand the struggles and conflicts between two races.Amazing movie.Watched it over and over.
