Light Bulbs 60W Equivalent, Megaman B10 E12 5W 2700K Dimmable Candelabra Led Bulbs for Ceiling Fan and Chandelier, 500Lumens, CRI85, Pack of 12

I did a fair amount of digging around before choosing these bulbs. And I've had zero problems with them. Came packaged well, no breaks, no nothing. I originally intended to use 2 of them to replace some other bulbs, but the next thing I knew I had used the entire package and now I need more. I've had them in for a few months now and I haven't had a single problem with any of them. They work as described, dim if needed, and I'm very happy with my purchase. These come highly recommended if this is what you're looking for.

[Light Color]:- The light is Soft White (2700K), so slightly on the warmer-white side (as expected) as opposed to a neutral-white, or cooler-white. If you want a whiter or cooler light, look for higher kelvins (search Google Images for "color temperature scale" for more details).[Light Brightness]:- Brightness is 500 lumens, so it's not that bright (as expected) but it is bright enough to create that nice candlelight, restaurant, or library atmosphere. Of course the more bulbs your chandelier holds, the brighter it will be. If you want more brightness using fewer bulbs, I suppose higher lumen bulbs will work better.[Dimming]:- For me, lowering the dimmer switch below 50% (such as 40%) made the bulbs too dim that they barely illuminated. So 50% and up to 100% is where I personally have to keep mine.[Physical Appearance]:- The E12 base of these bulbs is a bit longer than my original bulbs, consequently, they protrude from the socket, not a big deal (though I'm not sure if they're just a different type of E12 base or not). Feel free to let me know.- NOTE: There's a plastic strip at the base of the bulbs that should be removed before use.

They work with my old dimmer switch without having to upgrade it which is nice. The only problem with the dimmer switch is that they don't completely turn off when dimmed but that is what the light switch is for.

I love these MEGAMAN light bulbs that I installed today.I especially love that they work with my old wall switch dimmer without any issues.They are very bright - which I love - and I can dim them down if I want.I am writing a review the day I got the bulbs to take advantage of the six free light bulbs for writing a review.The color of the light is a little whiter than my previous incandescent light bulbs.I noticed this especially because I was on meeting with my webcam ON soon after I installed these bulbs and I noticed my skin tone on the webcam was not good. There is a definite difference in skin tone color on webcam with normal light vs these lights.So while the color of light looks fine to the eye - my skin tone is not as good or natural on webcam. I did NOT have this issue with the previous incandescent bulbs.Because of the color of light it is 4 stars.

These LED bulbs are excellent thus far and have exceeded our expectations. We weren't sure if the brightness (2700k) we chose would be correct for the area and the light fixture, but have been perfect. Being dimmable is an extra plus. 100% of the bulbs have worked out of the box, which is a plus. The vendor followed up to make sure we were satisfied and the bulbs were satisfactory. Together with the excellent price, this has been a Great Choice!

I just got these light bulbs to replace the many filament bulbs in my outdoor lights. Despite having a longer thread-shank that makes them a little taller, they fit fine in my fixtures. As the picture shows, they are about 3/8" longer than the old bulb. Their blunt end, versus the pointed one of the old bulbs, helps recover some of that length. More importantly, especially since mine will be used outdoors, is they're suitable for wet environments. This isn't mentioned anywhere in the ad but it's printed on the package. You can also sort of see it if you look closely around where the base meets the bulb. There's a silicone collar covering the seam between the two. From lightly messing with a bulb, it appears this collar could be removed, if one desired. The bulbs are also held securely in the box by a nice foam top and bottom (the top is what's holding the bulbs in the one picture).I would definitely buy these bulbs again. They even provide a *very* nice "surprise" inside the box. I won't reveal it--it's a surprise, after all--but it's well worth it.

Even though you see yellow strips in the pictures, these bulbs give out a nice amoung of light and look normal in our chandelier. The price was better than I could find anywhere, including Home Depot, etc. Haven’t had in the light long enough to evaluate the bulb life, but will update if they prove to be short-life bulbs.

Excellent replacement for traditional ceiling light fixtures that use this base design. Bright indoor lighting (2700 kelvin) that is soft and natural. Each bulb used a fraction of the energy ~ 10% or 6 watts which helps prevent getting burned upon touch from traditional 60 watt light bulbs. Great value.
