Received and immediately sat them both out in the sun all day. Only one is illuminating after 8 hours in the sun and then it only stays lit for 5 min before it peters out. The second one hasn’t come on yet so it might be a dud. With the one that is coming on, the light is very dim and looks nothing like the pictures. The pictures make it look bright and it’s not at all.The box had two random stakes that do not fit into the hole in the bottom so I’m guessing they don’t even go with these and there was a random solar top that also doesn’t fit or go with either.I will most likely be returning them at this point. It’s too much work to fiddle with them just to get them to light up for longer than 5 min. Cheaply made.UPDATE: FIGURED IT OUT!!So you have to change out the AAA battery that comes in the black solar disc thing. First remove disc entirely from the metal lamp by prying up metal tabs. Then find a very small Phillips screwdriver and CAREFULLY lift the top from the bottom (gently) you will see cheap AAA battery. Remove cheap battery and install better quality battery. Put it back outside with the button turned to ON position. Usually after you replace the battery it will illuminate right away so you can tell when it’s ON... Replace pieces back together, securely tightly with the little screws. After switching out batteries it lights up perfectly and I’m VERY happy with them. I will be keeping them after all and not returning. All these reviews about the lights not staying lit, it is the batteries people!

Pretty lights I purchased two as a gift and I liked him so much that I Purchased some for our house. I went out to look at one of them today and they are already rusting on the top. I have had them for a few weeks I would say. Otherwise I have been very happy with them they light up at night they’re very cute. My advice would be to keep them out of the rain I think that was my issue because they’re hanging on my balcony.

I love these lanterns, very happy with them!I'm thinking of getting another set.They are very bright and the pattern is clearly seen on the surrounding surfacesThey do have longevity, they came on at dusk and I noticed them lit at like 2-3 in the morning. They were ready to use right away, it was very simple

Have had so many compliments from my neighbors. The lights give off just the right amount of light, they add charm to our porch with the pattern they reflect.

Loved these, but 1 is already dead just a couple days past return window. Mad as I specifically bought as a pair...it died on a rainy day so I kept trying tweaking to make sure it was dead and now too late to return. :(

One of the best buys from Amazon. They are gorgeous and throw a great amount of light out. They stay on for many hours at night I put them on my balcony for safety (see my lanterns, I am home so do not break in) and they are absolutely gorgeous to look at. Very high quality and they have been out in the ocean air, standing up great. LOVE Them!

Beautifully designed & looks great when works. But cheaply made. When changing the battery it's basically impossible because when taking the cap off to replace the battery the little cheap made on/off button falls out and is impossible to put back in. So these are great with the original battery in but once the battery goes & you have to replace it, forget it. You have to throw them away cause the on/off button simply falls out & the light will no longer work. Make a better product with an improved & better made on/off switch.
