It does what it says on the box. The only issue I have is that one of my 4K monitors will not play the PS5 in 4K despite having the correct cable. I am still troubleshooting that.

This unit works very well. I wish there was a better solution for the remote control but it is what it is. Just don’t loose it.

I am recording output from Directv through the Matrix to a Hauppauge PC card so I can record output from my Directv DVR. Directv is pushing out Dolby 5.1 but it arrives on my PC (through the Hauppauge video card as AC stereo. The Gofanco unit I mention further in this review has a GUI interface and it works but also lags. Isn't this TES Matrix supposed to have "Smart EDID" capabilities (from the Amazon product page). With no GUI, its "Smart EDID" is not exactly smart if I have to type in some arcane programming commands. I suppose an on my TV screen EDID that I can set from the remote is out of the question. Anyway, I don't mind using a LAN or RS232 cable connection as long as I can figure out how to do it. Once I have it set up, I will not have to mess with it again. There is ZERO documentation in the manual or even on the TES website. If it this Matrix can't do what I want then it is not a "Smart EDID" and the unit will be returned. A Gofanco Matrix on Amazon can do it -- at almost half the price of this TES Matrix. The Gofanco unit has a lot of lag, which I had hoped to eliminate with this "Superior" TES product.The bells and whistles on the front are showy and work fine (I assume) but if the Smart EDID functionality is not working or doesn't exist (or I don't know how to do) putting Output A with Input 1 is irrelevant. It can beep beep, all day long as far as I'm concerned (another annoying feature by the way).So a useless product for me and a waste of my time and Amazon's money for shipping to me and back to Amazon.

Forget about the TESmart Ultra HD 4K HDMI 4X4 Matrix if you want to use an HTPC and get 4K UHD and ATMOS. This is not a high end matrix with a bunch of options. This is a very simple "dumb" matrix where you get what you get and that's it. The fancy name they used for handling EDID translates into the real world as zero EDID options. You cannot try a different built-in EDID if the one the matrix defaults to isn't working well. You're stuck with what you get. And there is no webpage interface. You literally get ZERO customization options with this matrix. It's a $50 matrix masquerading as a midrange $290 matrix. You can contact support and get someone overseas who speaks nice English. But that person is non-technical and they translate what you're saying to their technical department. But either the technical department doesn't know what they're doing or the customer service rep isn't understanding and translating very well to their tech support. Either way, they just tell you to do things like power it on and off again, or try a different HDMI port. There was absolutely no real technical advice offered. And no attempts were made to tweak firmware or even provide me with an updated firmware. Stay away from this junk if you're a rea Home Theater junkie. It's only good for extremely basic configurations.

Works great , refresh time is a little long but it may be the tv’s. Product is very reliable and has not given me any problems, i would suggest this product to anyone.

It replaced a broken one that came in a brand new motorhome! It works perfectly! And now we can watch movies and shows in our motorhome!

This performs exactly as I hoped it would. I am able to allocate 4 gaming platforms over 3 displays in any combination I want. It’s easy enough for my kids to use as well. Only thing to make it better would be adding an aggressive to the bottom of the IR sensor so it can be attached to a surface.
