Very good boots for a reasonable price.
I bought these boots for this summers hiking season. They fit very well out of the box and after they are fully broken-in should be very comfortable to wear. The side zippers work well and the boots are well made. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

These are a great boot for a hard worker with foot issues.
My husband is a 62 year old laborer with bad foot issues. He has been on his feet working hard almost his whole life. We went through a lot of boots and shoes that he just couldn't wear because he has really bad hammer toes, these have a large enough toe box to keep my husband comfortable. He also like's the zipper on the side. Great boot for a hard worker. Couldn't leave a picture, he's wearing them but by now you would not have been impressed anyway because he gets tar on them.

Comfortable UNTIL YOU START TO WALK AROUND IN THEM
These boots have A LOT of padding from the ankle up the calf, and aare very comfortable UNTIL YOU START TO WALK AROUND IN THEM! I have had them for about 9 months now, and they are still unvomfortable. The problem comes from the heel area, and goes up the ankle. The way the boot is made causes the sides to pinch in on my ankle. The back of the heel has a very stiff piece of plastic in it that cuts into the side and back of my ankle when I walk. The area around the 5th eyelet (counting from the bottom up) kept bending inward and pinching the front of my ankle. I wore them for a few months thinking they just needed to be broken in, but still had the problem. I tried numerous ways of adjusting the laces (running them different ways through the eyelets, skipping certain eyelets) and still could not stop the boot from jamming into my ankle. I have had stitching coming out around the textile parts on the side of the boot, and just recently noticed that the leather on the back of the boot has come apart right above that hard plastic part that I mentioned earlier in this review. If you do purchase these, walk around the house in them for a couple days to see how the heel area feels. Don't do what I did (sat on the couch, put them on, and thought they felt amazing without spending time walking in them.) My use for these was for work. I wore them 8 hours a day, with the majority of that time in an office setting. The other time was spent walking docks, climbing around on fishing boats, and the machinery areas of cruise ships, with a few rocky shoreline strolls. They're perfectly capable boots, feel like bulky sneakers, but expect to have sore ankles.

Good boot once broken in, except for the insole.
*Edit: The boots fit well after a day of break in, I guess I was spoiled by the immediate comfort of my other Reebok work shoes. With a good insole these boots are comfortable, I'm pretty sure the manufacturer meant for the included insole to be replaced. The heel cup does a good job of keeping the foot supported. It doesn't dig in once properly laced. The issue of the narrow part at the steel toe went away after a day of hard wear. These boots are rigidly supportive. I'm impressed. We'll see how long they last and I'll update my review if I can remember. Preface: I love the Reebok work steel toe shoes, I have several pairs of different styles. They were all immediately comfortable out of the box and lasted a long time. I'm keeping one star off for the upper being too small for my calf, I fixed it by zipping in a boot expander, maybe the padding will wear in and I'll be able to use the boot as normal. I needed a pair of boots and I bought these based off brand loyalty. Oh boy... These boots are honest to god terrible. There is a wierd plastic cup on the heel that digs into both sides of your ankle. Zero arch support, the inserts that came with the shoe are completely flat (not exaggerating). The part right where the steel toe begins is more narrow than the rest of the shoe, so that part digs into the sides of your feet. The tongue is huge and full of padding, as is the entire upper. It's quite a ridiculous amount of padding and I can't get the boot to lace around my shin. It fits my wrist perfectly though. The boots are very attractive and seem well built. My bet is that they'll break in nice with a good pair of third party insoles... If you have wrist sized legs these boots would probably be functional. I ordered a size and width larger than I usually wear.

Light weight, comfortable but won't last
Most amazing on comfort, not the longest lasting

Ive worn these boots for 21 months. Most Comfortable work boots on the planet!
First things first. I work in the oil fields in Alberta. I'm not in the bitumen, rather I have an office job, but steel/composite toe boots are a requirement. I work 10 hour shifts, plus 2 hours of travel a day. On fly days I have 4 hours of travel between plane and bus. I wear them everyday on site, both on the bus rides to/from work, and at work. I travel home with them as well, on the plane and bus. When I'm at home, I wear them at the acreage, and if I go hiking. In short, I wear them a lot! I've owned a pair of these Converse boots (Reebok took over manufacturing) for 21 months, and the only thing that is starting to go on them is the heal padding on the inside. Even with wearing ice cleats on them in the winter, they only have minor scuffing on the outside. I wore them through 2 winters now, with temperatures dipping into the -40s (yes -40. Its the same for both C and F), and they are warm. They have a composite toe cap, so they don't chaff your toes/feet, and there's no steel to get cold.

Sizes are a bit nuts I take size 10uk or 44 eu and bought that size, they were far to big I gave them to my brother who takes size 46 and fits him, I didn’t get another pair. But quality and look are perfect

Great boots very comfortable. Almost no break in time. Could be more breathable as a desert boot. Some tan dye has leached off the zipper area tho does not stain socks. Zippered side is very convenient
