Eware 3K037 Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier with Whisper-quiet Operation, Automatic Shut-off

When I first got this humidifier, it made an awful noise, like an intense vibrating/rattling or mechanical fan sound. However, I just picked it up and dropped in down on the table (full of water and all) from a height of a few inches several times, and eventually the noise stopped completely. It's perfectly silent now. Not sure this qualifies as proper care of this product, but I am extremely pleased. I will update if the noise comes back (fingers crossed!).Update: The noise came back when I dropped something near the humidifier. I was able to fix it again, but apparently it's temperamental. Also, the bright red "power indicator" light is pretty obnoxious at a half inch in diameter.

This is a great little humidifier that allows you to adjust the amount of mist it dispenses...and it's quieter than many of the Ultrasonic humidifiers on the market. It does gurgle like most of them do but thats not a problem unless you are a light sleeper and station the machine close to your head. The biggest problem is the the red "on" light. It's so bright that it lights up the room. I know the machine is ON when it's making mist, so I used a permanent black marker to blacken the red light cover making it much more tolerable.

This is a neat little humidifier. It doesn't bring up humidity in a bedroom, but is a nice extra in other parts of the house.Cons--the "steam" goes downward (and a room's warm air is always upward); thus it doesn't seem to affect the humidity gauge much.Remember NOT to pick up the whole machine by the handle--especially while running--as the handle only lifts the tank.Pros-it is lightweight--even holding the tank while filling.It is quiet.It has a knob for setting lower or higher output as needed.Light indicates on/off, & has automatic shutoff.

We love this little thing. It works exactly as the video review below. It works much more than the 10 hours on low that they describe. It's very compact. Much smaller than I expected. We have it turned up all the way up and it definitely makes a difference in a room. It's super quiet and safe to touch. As the video mentions you do hear occasional drips of the water moving from the tank to the humidifier but we didn't find it the least bit bothersome. At night we fill the tank, place it on the humidifier and then refill again. This allows it to run for many more hours than advertised. It was well worth the $30 we paid for it. I think the poor reviews below just happened to get a shipping damaged unit. If you get one that doesn't work, exchange it, we love ours.

The unit works fine most of the time, problem is it shuts down by itself to often.I think the water fill valve must get stuck because when I push it up a few timesthen it works A OK for quite awhile. I use only very good water, there is no residuein it.I will give it four and a half stars.

I am beyond upset! It ruined my nightstand. But let me start at the beginning. I bought this for my bedroom. The first night I placed it on a desk on the far side of the room. It made no difference for me in the morning. There was no water accumulated like I read in other reviews and I found it to run quietly, so the second night I put it on my nightstand hoping with it closer to me I would get some dryness relief. It did a slightly better job but I was still not satisfied. I bought a much larger unit at Costco today and as I removed the Eware unit to pack up for return to Amazon I discovered it was sitting in a puddle of water- not too bad on a laminate surface BUT the water seeped into the edges and lifted the laminate. I could just cry and think I will once I get done with this review.

I bought this for a larger room than I should have. It arrived and came smaller than I expected. On the plus side, the humidifier does offer a good amount of ultrasonic mist. For a smaller room this would be perfect, in a larger setting you would be better suited to find a larger humidifier.

I bought this for my 92 year old father's new apartment. He was having a big problem with static electricity. At 92 he did not want any new "gadgets". He does not want to learn new technology. This is simple and easy for him to use. When filled it is lite enough for him to carry. He fills it once a day and the static problem is much better. He looked down his nose at it when I first brought it over, but has since changed his mind.
