Seagate 1TB 2.5 inch HDD - 5400rpm - for PS3, PS4, Laptops, CCTV, Gaming Desktop PCs, iMacs and Macbooks - 1000GB Hard Drive - 2 Years Warranty

I bought this to use in a eufy security system - it has proved to be an excellent choice. Formatted and works with no problems. (These are my own thoughts on an item I have purchased)

Slotted straight into ps4, installed software, solved my blue light of death fault, sent fast well packed, (same make/model of orginal drive)

Brought this 1 TB HD for my Homebase 3. It was very easy to attach it to the Homebase 3 and after formatting the hard driver once it was back in, it’s now good to go. It works well, it’s not too expensive and no noise is being made from it. So far so good!

Used in Homebase 3 as a CCTV harddrive. Appears to cope with the storing of video's adequately so far.

Straight off the bat, I need to get the thing about packaging out of the way, first. My order arrived well bubble wrapped, just stuffed into a regular business envelope. Transportation wise it's fine, they really did use a lot of bubble wrap, and it's not in any way damaged it's just - investing in some appropriately sized padded envelopes would have been more secure - they're slimmer and therefore cheaper to post. Just saying, it's really not a dealbreaker I got a very good used HDD on the deal - just saying... That said, the drive delivered is perfect. Hooked it up straight away to a PC and took a proper look via Disk Sentinel. For the money I've got a 5400 rpm 2.5 inch internal HDD - out of in excess of 1000 days estimated on its life mine comes with only 113 days and 12 hours used on the clock, no errors, no bad sectors - perfect health - and must have come out of a laptop - highest operating temp recorded has been 51 degrees C. Eclosed, it runs at a comfortable 32 degrees - all in all perfect for the PS4 I put it in and reinitialising with a new operating system took literally minutes - I now have a PS4 with 1TB hard drive which should last until similarly priced for the size SSD become more common place. Very pleased with the purchase, will definitely be keeping this seller in mind, great quality for a used HDD. Thank you.

Worked for a short time, then failed. Also found advice very slow and sluggish. Not what I expected from Sea Gate to be honest. Spend a little more and buy something better is my advice

I trust Seagate to produce reliable storage devices and this seemed to offer good function for the price.
