What are the dimensions of the inset squares that hold the drives? I need to know if my drives will fit well.

85mm x 57mm x 8mm… that is the size of the Samsung T7 drives that fits snuggly into to the case. I have two (one 500GB and the other 2TB) and they fit just fine and don’t slide out. I keep a SanDisk Extreme 1TB and two USB cables in the netted pouch. Zips up just fine.

What are the internal Dimensions?

About 6.25 x 4.25 inches - just large enough to accommodate the drives and the bumper around them. I am curious about why you need the internal dimensions for this product? You can see the size relative to the drives in the picture.

can I remove the molded holder that holds the SSD drives?

Yes, I believe you could. It seems to be a separate part held in with just a minimal amount of adhesive and you could probably pull it out, but why would you want to?
