ROGER WATERS: US + THEM shows the acclaimed tour 2017-2018 by legendary Pink Floyd artist. As a founding member, lyricist, composer and creative force behind Pink Floyd, US+ THEM Waters presents powerful music in a breathtaking form and underscores his message of human rights, freedom and love. Based on his acclaimed US + THEME World Tour 2017-18, which includes a total of 156 shows for 2.3 million people around the world, the product includes classic songs from The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, Wish You Were Here and his latest album, Is This The Life We Really Want? Waters insistently demonstrates that he is a musical activist in his heart and one of the most passionate political speakers of his time. He has dedicated his life to fighting those who want to control our lives and destroy our planet. Welcome To The Machine and Another Brick In The Wall Part II are very reminiscent of the gloomy warnings he gave decades ago about alienation, expulsion, greed, suffering, destruction and loss. And yet the songwriter's humanity cannot be seen more clearly than in Wish You Were Here, because even though he presents a gloomy picture of the state of the world, his message is ultimately a message of hope through unity and love.Tracklisting:01.Intro02.Speak To Me03.Breathhe04.One of These Days05.06.Breathe ( Reprise) 07.The Great Gig in the Sky08.Welcome to the Machine09.Déjà Vu10.The Last Refugees 11.Picture That12.Wish You Were Here13.The Happiest Days of Our Lives14.Another Brick in the Wall Part 215.Another Brick in the Wall Part 316.Dogs17.Pigs (Three Different Ones) 18.Money19.Us Them20.Brain Damage21.Eclipse22.The Last Refugee (Reprise) 23.Deja Vu (Reprise) BONUS FOOTAGE INCLUDES: “A FLEETING GLIMPSE” (Documentary) "COMFORTABLY NUMB” (Live Performance) "SMELL THE ROSES” (Live Performance) band:Dave Kilminster: GuitarsBO Koster: Keyboards Jon Carin: Keyboards and GuitarSlucius - Jess Wolfe & Holly Casual: vocalSian Ritchie: saxophoneGus Seyffert: Guitars and BassJonathan Wilson: Guitars and vocalsJoey Waronker: Drums Review: Fantastic Visuals Audio Musicianship - I didn't go but I feel I have Experienced it... - I went to The Wall concert in Manchester a few years back and was blown away with the visuals and the concert. US & THEM takes this up a notch in all aspects (wish I had gone to it now). These concerts were an Event not just a concert. The chosen tracks are neatly woven together into a visual and audio feast with some hard hitting subjects tackled head on. Terrific outstanding brilliant - if you like Roger Waters or Pink Floyd this is a must buy. Review: Relive the evening - I saw this concert live in Birmingham with my 20 yr old daughter, who thoroughly enjoyed it. This helps us relive the evening. The quality is spot on as is the sound. We play it back using my old stereo system with real studio monitors. Wack it up, with no distortion in the soundtrack. If you like Pink Floyd and enjoy Roger Waters don't miss out with this. It's a bit hard hitting at times, but you expect that with Waters. If it wasn't hard hitting it would be a true Waters show. Enjoy

Great concert
It’s a top concert, with a fantastic band behind Roger waters and playing songs from is this the life we really want is a great bonus, I just that Roger would release more music.

Brilliant emotional rollercoaster. 5*
Roger Waters is one of the very few artists that can literally move an audience to tears. A great songwriter who, visibly frustrated, if not angry, at the state of the world, can inform and discuss through his songs without being preachy and always move and entertain his audience. The musicians, especially the guitars, are outstanding; great versions of Dogs, Pigs (three different ones) and Comfortably Numb. And Lucius provide much more than just backing vocals. As you'd expect from '(ex) Floyd quality assurance', audio and visual fidelity on this disc is top drawer. I never managed to get to the concerts so this recording is as good a substitute as I'd ever hope for. 5 stars. Plus add another star for Roger with his top off backstage, phwoar! haha! Nice one Rog.

Horrible cardboard sleeve and audio problems
After listening to Roger Waters exceptional COVID 19 version of mother I really was looking forward to us + them, I really like Roger Waters but this was a bit disappointing in places, for example The Great Gig In The Sky, female volcano part, so important but half way through their great performance an issue with the audio, either sounded like a bad splice or a volume problem. Ok in fairness at the moment I’ve not listened to this on high quality equipment, just through the tv and I know this could be the problem, but others are saying the same about the audio. After I listen to this on a big hifi we will see. Further to this, I’ve now listened to this from the Roger Waters You tube page and the quality is very good so I think the audio issues could be due to the sound being reproduced via tv speakers and not hi quality hifi or surround sound equipment. , for this reason I’m changing my reveiw to 5 stars

Comprehensive concert. Annoying host!
It's a packed show with lots of familiar tunes and the usual axe to grind I'm going to put the world to rights RW protest stuff! Good to find Atmos for the first time on PF. That said, the music lacks depth. If you crank up the volume, you're likely to get caught out by some thunderous intermission sounds effects so watch out! I don't know whether it's just me but I just find RW extremely annoying. I don't go for all this zealous fist clenching and I'll getcha facial expressions like some losing tennis player. The camera focuses on an audience who too have that 'hate in their eyes I'm gonna get you' expression? Personally, I just want to Chill and feel love for an hour or so. I'm familiar with the Gilmour team of players and I'm sure Rog's musicians are adequate but I don't recognise anyone. The greasy haired guitarist backbone of the whole show shines throughout and doesn't get enough visual airtime. He also sings quite sweetly which is a welcome departure from the flashes of Roger's snarling barking vocal efforts. I can't help thinking this guy made up for the part as a 1970s Gilmour lookalike. I've never been sure about Roger's proficiency as a bassist. He's shadowed by a bass player in the background and you can't help thinking that Roger's participation is economical, as it always has been I guess! All in all, a decent concert by the guy who wrote most of the songs and one worth adding to your collection. There's a little too much protest film intervention and it's a little lightweight sonically but scrapes by ok.

UK Blu Ray has Dolby Atmos!
I seen the show at Liverpool and it was amazing, one of the best days of my life. Roger and the band were just incredible and I was moved to tears a couple of times they were that great. A brief review of the Blu Ray, the picture and sound quality is excellent, there is 3 sound options uncompressed 2.0 LPCM, Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 5.1. I screen shot the menu as another review stated there was no Atmos track but maybe they have a different version. I'm very impressed with the way the show was filmed, it's similar to the way The Wall was filmed. It was so great to see Dogs and Pigs performed live. There's a few extra features, a 15 minute documentary, Smell the Roses Live and Comfortably Numb Live. My one slight complaint is just the packaging is very thin card so you just need be careful getting the disc out, my dad would probably accidentally rip it to bits if he tried to get the disc out. It's pretty much the same packaging used for the Amused To Death Blu Ray. Highly recommended.

Muss man erleben! You Where Here" zeigen will! Da wird drübergesprungen! Kein Problem, nehme ich halt die andere Scheibe. Und? genau das gleiche!!! Offenbar ein echter Produktionsfehler!

His first solo ventures didn't impress me at all, I enjoyed Pink Floyd minus Waters, twice, the Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse. But this time Roger Waters outdid himself with this performance , he looked happy, closer to the audience (which he never did before) , enthusiastic (!), everything was flat out perfect. It was impressive to see the warehouse hologram over the heads of the fans, the triangle/pyramid reminding of Dark Side of the Moon and got rid of the annoying wall by replacing it with a virtual one. His choice of songs was impeccable and made all his fans happy for 148 minutes, 9 out of 10...(10 if all four members would have been there, but Richard Wright left us), since Waters created so much of the Pink Floyd catalog, it's a great tribute to his awesome career and an overt statement to Resist the worst of many coward Leaders and , yes, Go for Love, thanks Roger!
