The ideal solution in our kitchen to have three three-pin sockets in a straight line rather than use a three-way adapter, especially as our radio has a chunky transformer plug. The two USB ports are a nice and useful addition with 2.1A output, not the fastest though.Read the tech specs at the top of the page for the details of what you'll get. As with a three-pin adapter plug you'll need two hands to pull the plug out otherwise you pull the Hulker completely out of the wall socket. You'll probably need to put a bit of packing behind the plug to the same thickness as the wall pocket. Pushing a plug into the left socket on the Hulker could eventually weaken the pins into the wall socket. I used some folded up cardboard and stuck it to the back of the plug strip. Worth saying that if you use this on a two-socket wall plug you'll probably not be able to use the other socket.It came with two spare 13A fuses. The makers suggest the wall strip is really designed for low power products rather than heaters, washing machines and other heavy power consumption products you might have.UPDATE TO MY REVIEW I bought another one and it seems the Chinese makers have taken on board the problem of pushing in a three-pin plug on the left which has a gap behind it, the latest version has two thick plastic screws. either end at the back, which can be twisted out to equal the depth of the wall socket from the wall. Neat solution.

This is ideal for its intended purpose. If you want to plug this into a double socket, then you will either lose the use of the second socket, or like me you could use the second socket with one of those plugs where the wire goes out of the top of the plug so you can still use it.As for the actual unit itself, it's really sturdy because it has two arms on the back which you can screw out to the required length so they sit against the wall and means that as you plug something in, these will push against the wall and keep it in place. The 2 USB ports at the end are good if you use them, as they basically take up the space that would only be able to have 1 plug, so you're getting the space to plug in 5 things, and the USB ports also have a switch too.

Works for its purpose and appears well built.

Does move a little as other reviews stated but still a good product especially for USB charging and being able to switch off each plug.

I have two of these plugs and they are great. I like that there are individual switches and two points to charge phones.

This is a great socket that work as expected

1st hulker replaced due to one of the socket lights going out after 12 month, son really happy with this unit so replaced with the same one which is working great.

I like the fact it as individual switches for each socket. The design for me is a little awkward I have a double socket adjacent to a cooker socket. The extension plug won't fit the left side socket due to close proximity of cooker . If i use it in the right hand one i can no longer use the left one as a plug won't fit due to the electrical cord. But that is an issue with my sockets rather than the extension plug . Good value for money
