Excellent primer on CFT
I found this book very helpful. I am a therapist and this is a book I could use with clients. It's very clear and has great exercises for developing compassion, especially self-compassion, which can be very helpful for many people. I took a training on Compassion Focused Therapy, which got me started with this topic and this book helped to clarify many of the concepts.

Excellent for self help and practitioners
A very good book for.self help and for experienced clinicians. Mary Wellford is very good so I’m not surprised having attended one of her training days. I’m an accredited CBT therapist so I hopefully know what I’m talking about.
