American made. Lightest cooler with a 2” solid construction.
So I did my research for a solid cooler I could sit/stand on. Light enough to carry loaded for a 10-15 minute walk into a jobsite. Preferably made in the US with a great construction. 2” insulation. Solid handle. Tie down points I can use to attach a nice Paracord shoulder strap to go hands free. Lockable. Looks clean & I could remove all the brand name labels so guys aren’t tempted to steal it. If they did steal it u could probably run them down. They won’t be running very fast with this cooler LOL. Nice smooth surface aside from the lid texture to attach union bugs.Apparently the dry goods tray no longer comes included with the cooler 01/2023. I DMd the Grizzly customer service @ it. To keep costs down they don’t include the tray anymore. IMO I’d just have it as a check-out option. Luckily I got the tray but I’m probably the last one. The response was quick within 30min even after business hours. The cooler is 16# dry. If you remove the handle it’s probably 14#. Loaded it weighs @ 20# which is what my 28qt Lifetime cooler weighs without anything in it. Yeti is too much $. Anything cheaper has weak handles held on by a tiny screw. Or no handle & only a shoulder strap. All more than $160. IMO I’d rather spend the little extra $, buy a solid, quality, US built product that I can get some good use out of for the next 20yrs. Love the cooler. Only thing I could ask for is an upright cooler with the same inside dimensions built by the same company. Ice retention is very good BTW. I keep an ice pack in the cooler overnight then replace it with a fresh one in the am when I pack my lunch. Fits on the bottom of my Rubbermaid cart @ work. Cooler is ice-cold all day.

Impressive Little Cooler!
I bought this Grizzly 20 cooler as a smaller cooler for my family and I. I was looking at the Yeti 20 as well, but the Yeti did not come with the handle anymore (they changed their model to a shoulder strap - which I did not want). So far its very durable, roto-molded, easy to carry and keeps things cold. Exactly as pictured. A lot of people are concerned with days and days of ice retention. What i can say for me is that I precooled this cooler over night and have had ice in this cooler for 3 days straight (going on four now) .... and there is still a good bit of ice still left in the cooler. The cooler came fully assembled and did come with the plastic dry tray as well the rubber feet covers (to allow it to slide across my trucks bed).It was packaged nicely (with a direct from factory Grizzly logo'd shipping box) and came undamaged when it arrived at my home. All in all, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would buy one again.Hope this review helps others as you are trying to make a decision or are on the fence between this and another cooler. Thank you Grizzly & Amazon!

outstanding cooler.
Saw an igloo cooler that had blown out of someone's truck today coming home from the job site and I just laughed. This thing has toe down holes so you can keep it in your truck bed. The optional divider is genius. I just put it in the freezer at the end of the day and back out in the morning. I bought the 20oz it is big enough for 20+ cans of my favorite energy drink. Love made in America. Take your money and spend it with a fellow American who actually made the product in America to. I swear, I don't work for them. They just made a really darn good cooler.

BEST COOLER EVER
I'm a heavy equipment repair welder with a Kenworth T300 that the air conditioning has been out of service all summer. This cooler sat in my passenger seat with water, Gatorade and my lunch when it was 108 outside and 128 inside my truck. And it all was cold, and I mean cold like if you leave a water bottle in It for 2 days with ice the bottle starts to form ice in it. It will keep a 10 lb bag of ice for 4 days of you don't open it and will keep ice for a day and a half opening it 10 times a day. Took it to the grand canyon and left it in my car for 5 days. Had no ice left but the water was still 40 degrees. The tray that comes with it is big enough for dry food good for the day and the drain works great, never leaks. Best part it's made in America with a lifetime warrantee. The only con is you can ditch your gym membership because it is heavy. It will make a man out of you. Don't waste your money on trendy Yeti get a Grizzly.

Holds the ice!!
I bought this cooler after much research. I wanted a cooler made in the USA and also one that would hold ice a long time. This summer has been hotter than usual, so it put the cooler to a good test. I usually put about a 1inch block of ice (I make in my own freezer) to place on the bottom of the cooler. I then add my drinks, add regular cubed ice and place my food items on top. I have been on a 3 day float trip with over 100 degree temps, and the block ice was still in the cooler. It did what I had hoped and at the same time supporting US business. I definitely give this a thumbs up!!!

Simply excellent cooler
This thing is made very well. It will keep ice for at least 5 days in the right conditions. I also like that it’s the only cooler with the 2” drain. If I were to give any negatives, it would be that it’s heavy /bulky without anything inside. So yes it’s their portable smaller day cooler but I can see some people thinking it’s a bit heavy. All and all, I LOVE this thing! It’s gonna last a lifetime and then some.

Keeps drinks cold!
Tough and Made In USA! After looking at all the different "super coolers" out there, I decided on the Grizzly 20. I took this on a 3 night trip to Vermont. Temps were in the mid 80's with high humidity. I had to add ice the second day out (was opening it often to get out beverages) but the water that was in there was ice cold! I added more ice and still had some on the way home. It's not a big cooler, I had a case (24) cans in there. The cans were still cold even after I got home. I experimented with it, and even after letting it sit outside for a week afterwards, the beer was still cool, not cold, but bearable enough to drink. I would recommend using a block of ice instead of cubes, and not filling it to capacity, it would probably retain it longer. If you're looking for something to keep all your food and beverages in, I'd recommend going with a bigger version, like the 40 or 60. Overall I'm satisfied with it. I gave it 4 stars because I had to add the ice to it, but it WILL keep your stuff cold. Looking at the bigger models as I type this...
