This worked great to fix my washer door lock and could finally wash clothes at home. Not to hard of a diy job. After watching a YouTube video one time I was good when the part came, had it installed in 5 mins. Been working fine so far no issues. Quality part for the price a no brainer.

I purchased this locking mechanism for my samsung washing machine. It was a great fit. You dont need to remove the rubber seal, you can wiggle it from the top if you have the patience. It worked and is working. It took me about 15 minutes from taking the top of the washing machine off to remove this and wiggling it loose. the clips to remove the cover needs attention to detail to see where the clips are (two clips). 3 wires to unplug.

This product was a little difficult to install, but all in all was worth it. Fixed my issue for a fraction of the cost of getting a profesional out to fix it.

I installed it and it works a lot cheaper than going through the manufacturer.

Check your part first before you purchase This is the 2 pin model. If you gotten this far finding the door lock part on samsung washer. Take out part first and verify if you have the 2 pin model or 4 pin model. I got the OEM number on samsung website and purchased this. But when going to replace i have the 4 pin model and its a different part number (D64-00519D) type this in amazon and the 4 pin model shows up same price... Thanks to this review from another amazon customer i did not use this because the door would of locked but not release thats what the other 2 pins are for. Product did not match exactly. As you can see from picture, old part(bottom) had 4 contacts and new part(top) only had 2. When installed this caused a FL error code and door remained locked. Returning.

Perfect fit

Been around 5 monthes. working, Parts easy put in. lots cheaper then oem. (Do have have unbolt front and take rubber seal off. wire with spring pull off first. then rubber seal comes right off). Fit just like original

if your door does not latch anymore try this lock assembly (ensure its correct model/make - you can watch a youtube video on how to get the existing one so you can compare them). It's way cheaper than a plumber or buying a new machine. And if it doenst work you can probably return it and get a refund. the install is a bit difficult - I followed a youtube video. But it only required a screw driver for tools.
