This coat fit perfectly, and it is so warm for winter. I am extremely pleased with the quality and comfort. I also love all the pockets to carry my 'stuff'. Great coat, great price! Mine is the light blue - beautiful.

I bought this coat because I loved the pattern. I wish it had a sinch at the waist because it's a little big but it seems well made and thought out with tons of pockets. The fur on the inside could have been a little nicer but it seems warm. Can't wait to try it next winter.

The best coat I’ve ever bought,very warm and comfortable

I grew up in Colorado and thought I was winter-hardy… but had a bit of a *freezing* shock when I moved to Minnesota three years ago. My first two winters I bought an ankle-length parka and was still freezing…this winter I bought this coat, and it kept me totally warm all winter. I am so grateful. It was a little shorter than I would have hoped, coming right to my hip bone, but I am tall, 5’10”, it would be longer on a shorter person. It is a very warm coat. In fact, I can’t wear it if it’s above freezing as I tend to get too warm. But for any days 20 or colder, (which is most of winter here) I know that this is good coat to wear. I also bought a fleece jacket so on the REALLY cold days where it’s 15 below I wear that under and I’m good. Maybe my nose will be falling off but my torso stays toasty. Highly recommend. This winter went way better for me. Thank you, coat. :-3

ORIGINAL REVIEW (scroll down for update): I bought this jacket because I needed a decently thick, waterproof jacket because I am moving to the mountains for college. I absolutely despise jackets and never wear one even if the temperature gets below freezing where I live, (which it almost never does), because I just get hot and started sweating extremely easily. However I knew I had no choice now because I would be in a lot colder weather than I'm used to where the winds make it seem 10x colder, but I wanted a jacket that wasn't bulky but would keep me warm. I bought this because I thought it fit that bill and I was disappointed, but that may be because I got the wrong size. I feel like this doesn't fit like it looks in the picture as well if that makes sense. In the picture it looks like it would fit flat and to sort of your figure, but it doesn't. I usually wear a medium in all jackets, so I ordered one, because although I have a small torso, my shoulders are broad and my upper arms are a bit thicker so I need room to move them. I am 5'3" and 150 pounds. However I think this jacket is somewhat large. It kind of bulges out in the back and sides and fits a lot thicker. If I were to wear layers under this it would fit nicely, but I know I am not because I get hot SUPER easily and knew layers plus this jacket would be too much no matter how cold it was. Although I have not tried it out in cold weather, (which I will update this review when I do), I am 100% positive short sleeves and this jacket would be plenty warm for me. The lowest it will get on average where I am going will be around 20 degrees Fahrenheit with "feels like" temperatures being ever colder. I think I am going to return this for a small and see how that works for me. If you plan on layering, I would say order what size you normally do unless you are like me and always size up for jackets. However, this jacket is really nice material and I know it will hold up well in the weather I am moving to. It has plenty of outside and inside pockets to hold all your items and keep them dry. It's a steal for the price.UPDATE: I returned this jacket and reordered for a size small, blue jacket (which looks a lot cuter btw) and I love it, even though I hate jackets. It fits like I expected the first one to. It fits perfect for me to wear short sleeves or a thin long sleeve underneath, which is what I was planning on doing because I know this jacket will keep me plenty warm. I couldn't wear anything thicker than a medium thickness long sleeve shirt because of how it fits. It is a bit tight around my upper arms and shoulders, but a lot of my clothes fit like that because I am broad-shouldered and my upper arms are thicker, and it's fine with me. I love this jacket 100x more now that I ordered a smaller size, and a different color. If you're smaller than me (I'm 5'3 and 150 pounds, small torso and thick bottom half) and plan on layering, I think a small would work. However if you are my size or a little bigger and want to layer, order a medium. I usually wear size small shirts and the small fits me like I want and where I wouldn't have room to layer. I usually order medium jackets, but that size was too big and bulky for me in this jacket. So base what size you need off of this, but even if you don't like it, you get your return in the form of a gift card the day you drop your package off and can receive your new jacket in 2 days for free, so it's really no hassle.I love my jacket and am happy I returned and re-ordered! I will update my review to tell how well it holds up in mountain snow, cold, rain, and wind.

Bought for wife. She insists on Gore-Tex, but I digress. She at least humored me and tried it on. She's probably a large, but "prefers" medium. Medium was way too small. Not a product defect, just something to know going in. It's a tight medium, and given you'll add layers...Otherwise, the quality seemed to far surpass the price point. Not Gore-Tex, but do you really need it? Let me re-phrase. Don't you have something else you'd rather spend the extra $250+ on? Highly recommended, unless you're a brand snob, but if you're reading this assumptions must be made.

Jacket and pants were both great quality but the size of the pants ran very small. The jacket was a little large but I couldn’t even wear the pants and had to return

I’m 5’3” 135lbs. I usually wear size 8/M. I bought a medium.The jacket was almost too small. There’s a cummerbund like waistband that I could not fasten - it was too tight. There’s also an inner wrist cuff with thumb holes that I could not wear because they were too short. The thumb holes did not come down enough to Belew comfortable.The jacket was very warm though. I wore it to Norway in February and was never cold.

We bought this for my fiancee for a trip, so far we have been in temps as low as -17 and she said it kept her nice and warm.

last time I got blue jackets was xl was too small but black jacket was xl was prefect but I got this blue 2xl was prefect I decided keep I love it and easy to put my pocket and etc too.I love black jackets was xl prefectI love yellow xl was prefectI love blue 2xl was prefectbut blue first one I got was xl was too small and fit me and I got second blue 2xl was pefect fit me but I went to get purple 3xl was perfect but xl2 was not good because xl 2 have zipper had damage refused closed up on neck but all black and yellow and ther 3xl purple and yellow x1 fit neck keep you warm that why .
