Pleasantly surprised!
The 1st thing that impressed me was that this arrived about a week sooner than the expected arrival date! It's always nice to get your order faster than you were expecting to!I have 2 large Savanah Cat males (11 & 13 pounds each, but very tall and long bodied), they're not quite a year old so they're still growing! They've been neutered but they are still extremely high-energy, and love to play rough with each other. I got this tree hoping it would help give them an outlet for all their energy: something they could climb and chase each other on, but also use when they need a quiet place to take a break from rough-housing.They were very interested from the moment the box entered the house! During assembly the cats would go back and forth between playing in the box, and exploring & playing on what had been built so far. The entire assembly was super easy! The instructions were very easy to follow. It only took me about 20 minutes to put the tree together by myself. I tightened all the bolts as tight as they would go, and the tree is slightly wobbly but still sturdy. It doesn't seem like it would tip over, it just trembles a bit when the boys are playing on it. I have the tree set up in a corner of my living room with the couch next to it so it has support on 3 sides. I slightly modified the design when I was putting it together. I omitted the bottom ladder that goes from the floor to the larger cat house. It was taking up too much space and wasn't structurally necessary. I may try to figure out a way to attach it to the front of the cat house, rather than the side as it's designed to do. I did install the 2nd ladder that goes from the top of the cat house to next tier. I don't love this ladder! Every time my cats use it to jump up or down it swings all over the place! It's only held in place by one little flexible metal arm and a screw on the top of the ladder. If there was also a way to secure the bottom of the ladder it would be much more stable. My other design omission was the little box-shaped cat house that goes under the center tallest platform at the top. My cats are too big to fit in it, and it took up so much space that they couldn't use the entire "L"-shaped level. I hated to sacrifice the height of the tallest platform, but it worked out well because omitting the box made all the platforms the same height which means my big kitties can stretch out over multiple platforms. This is only our 1st day with the cat tree, but all in all I'm very happy with, and more importantly so are Jack & Oliver! I'll update in the future if anything happens to make me want to change my review. For now, I highly recommend this tree! My cats love it and it's holding up to their crazy rough playtimes!P.s. - as for the odor people have mentioned, my cat tree really didn't smell that bad. It has a faint scent of raisins of all things! Lol! Wasn't expecting that! But at least it's better than a gross chemical smell. I think I'll just open the windows for a while tomorrow to try to air it out.

My cat loves it!
So okay, I gave many five stars here. Is it TOP OF THE LINE, KING OF THE CROP?! maybe not? But I have one cat. She's rambunctious and needs to spazz around. This fits the bill PERFECTLY. It's /a little/ wobbly.. Even after having used JB weld at all the assembly points (just in case). There are hooks and brackets to mount it to a wall which I feel would alleviate that entirely- So that's why I don't give less than 5 stars there. I was concerned that she would mangle the soft-walled enclosures on it, or that she would strip the carpeting off the wood like some of the photos.. But no. She's not really a destructive cat, so she mainly will just run up it to flop and stare out the window. If you have a cat that loves to claw and climb, this is a great purchase. It's not too expensive and should last you many months at LEAST. If you've just gotten a cat and you want something your fuzzy friend can play on, but don't have a lot of budget, this is your jam. My cat has loved lazing on here, playing, (completely destroying the mouse toy), and using it as a platform to talk at me eye-to-eye. I would 100% recommend this to someone who wants a play place for their cats right now. In a year or so, you can upgrade to one of those palatial catopia things. But for one cat who just likes to play, this is wonderful :)Take your time assembling it, as well. Any of the negatives about "instructions not clear" are just people hurrying. I had a couple snags where I put the wrong pole in the wrong spot.. But it's a simple process to undo, reglue and redo. :>

Nice
I placed my order Nov 7th (Tuesday) and it arrived Nov 10 (Friday). Fast delivery! I'm on a tight budget these months but wanted to gift my baby something to play on. It's not the best, but for the money, it's not bad at all. As you can see on one of the pictures, the inside of the little houses is made from what looks like tarp (?). Because of this, I had some trouble trying to build it in a way that I wouldn't accidentally tear the material. It's pretty tall, but not very roomy. My cat is about 8 months and it seems a bit small in width, should be perfect for kittens. Mine seems a bit wobbly and I have tightened every piece. The bottom isn't heavy so maybe that's why. I'll have to place something heavy on it so my cat feels more confident to jump on and off easily. My biggest complaint though is the smell. It's so strong and unpleasant, I hope it goes away eventually and soon. When I first opened it, and as I was building it, there was no smell, but a couple of hours later, yikes.Pros: fast delivery, tall, looks nice, easy to build, affordable.Cons: horribly unpleasant smell, not very wide, somewhat wobbly, messy when building it (3rd pic)

Five stars so far!
So far so good. My five kitties love it. Hoping it holds up. Went together easily, took about an hour for me to do it on my own (5’3 female). I needed something to accommodate my two adult cats and their three growing kittens. The full grown cats fit in all compartments and on the platforms. It can hold all five of them with no issues. I would suggest keeping it against a wall or in a corner for stability purposes just to be safe. Very tall, my adult male loves the top platform

Bit rickety; cat hasn't used; prolly will; top platforms/most of em? R bit small 4 adult-cat perhaps
I don't know if it's my cat's age, or the fact that some of them can be creatures of habit; but mine hasn't used this since about a week's time, yet. Probably if she were a kitten, she would have by now. Putting kibble-food in the little home compartments seems to help but only if I place her in there, a bit, type-deal. She then just eats the food and jumps-out. It wiggles a bit. Maybe she doesn't understand she needs to climb, but that's not a fault of the device. It's put together easy-enough. The instructions are clear-enough. The "end" posts (those at the top,) were a bit longer than the instructions said it'd've been but when it comes to height; one helps, with which it being more-tall, with these kitty condo's....

Great for kittens and young cats
I have 2 older cats and they have some trouble jumping from level to level. The ramps take up too much room so there’s not a lot of lounge space on top of the little hut so I removed them (cats weren’t using them anyway). They stopped going above the lowest hut so having the whole tree was useless. In fact, a couple of times my one cat who has been unwell for a while fell off. Thankfully it was when he first tried it so I was right there to catch him in mid air but after that, I decided to give this away to a friend who has a younger, more athletic cat.
