Bought two sets of these at the same time, and i'm really glad I did.The Instruction manual is very detailed and has a great easy to follow format . One of the best I've seen for this type of item.These lights have many functions and various brightness settings which can either be controlled via the excellent little remote or via the press switch on the power plug.There is a timer program option, but I opted just to use a timer plug.I haven't added any pictures of the lights as a photo wouldn't really do them justice, but they have a lovely array of different colours which I would think most people would be pleased with.Very pleased with this purchase. A really nice set of lights with a very well thought out Instruction manual.

Would recommend. Nice and bright with lots of different modes.The timer doesn't always seem to work but that might be operator error on our part.

Huge fan of these, bought the 600 on lightning deal for outside but once we saw they come with a dimming feature we ended up using them on the tree. I then wanted all my garlands to have the same colour lights so bought 2 lots of the 2x 100 boxes and they're just as great. We're a static warm white household but I did really like the pastel colours.The 100 lights come with a USB so you do need a plug, luckily we have loads from different devices - I did try powering from a 10400mAh powerbank for an area without a plug and it used just under 50% in 6 hours. Aftercare has been great, one set became faulty so I messaged them and had a new set turn up 2 days later.My main annoyance is having to use the remote to turn them off and on, I normally set up my lights on smart plugs with a routine but if you use them it doesn't keep the memory of the lights so you need to still use the remote to change them all to the on you want. Smaller annoyance was that the twinkley setting alternates between slow and fast and the fast is very jarring.

Really good value for money but I should point out a couple of issues that you may only discover once you have the m set up: 1) If you have several sets running from a multi-USB adaptor, the buttons on the plugs are not really accessible and you HAVE to use the remote control. If you use the remote control, then it will control ALL of the sets on the multi-USB adaptor, so if you wanted different set ups for each independent run of lights, then you'll be disappointed unless you use lots of different USB adaptors. 2) If, like me, you have an independent clock-plug to control all the lights from one power source, then you will find that each time the independent clock plug allows the sets to light up, then the lights start on their default setting. not your preferred one, which means that you have to use the remote control on each occasion the lights come on. N.B. these comments are not actually faults of the sets but just not accommodative of an ideal set up for all scenarios.

These were great around a bed headboard using a timer. Only problem was they lasted 2 months then stopped working for no reason. Amazon don’t want to know and the company have not responded. Forget UK consumer law guess it doesn’t apply to them.UPDATE: The supplier has now sent a replacement, so I cannot fault their customer service.

These are nice lights, usb powered and cover my tree well. Theres a big but. There are 11 modes on the remote, and no matter how hard I try, I can't get them to not revert to one of the flashing modes. Sometimes it's a few minutes, some times an hour. I have 2 sets, and both are the same. I select mode 3, all is fine, then some time later they start flashing which is very annoying.The remote on/off function comes in very handy. Remote distance isn't massive, but good enough.I did buy some window lights which are similar, but they don't flash unless I ask them to. Hopefully these will settle down ?!?

First I really like the lights but then one of them stopped working even I haven't used it much. I've contacted the seller and received a replacement next day. Customer service is excellent! The lights are good.
