Artist's Loft Fundamentals Watercolor Paint 12 Pieces

Beautiful paints and just right to allow my children to also paint with.

The pack did not have a green! What set gets packed without any green! Such a disappointment. Wish I knew that the standard colors would not show up.

Not bad for beginner paint

These were just okay to work with but I was on holiday & my paints at home. I wanted to paint some artwork for my friend while I was there & ordered these. The first thing I noticed was the pigment - what there was of it. I had to use about half the water to get any color on the paper which affected the desired look. Once the paint was dry they had lightened substantially. She sent me a photo of them 3 weeks after I'd painted them and the pigments had faded until the art could hardly be seen anymore. Horrible, terrible complete waste of money. No, they weren't hung on a sunny wall. They were hung in a hallway with no windows.

two of the tubes exploded after opening, the viridian exploded from both sides. black was already starting to come out, when i opened it, it was pretty dry on the inside. the adhesive that was used to close up the bottom didn't seem to do a very good job.

I purchased these about a year ago, and got them out recently, only to discover that over one third of the tubes are corroded, cracked, broken, and leaking. They are OK at first but don't plan to keep them very long.

These are great for someone just starting out with watercolors. I use them because I am not creating anything meant for museum presentation. So these work great for getting a feel for the medium. Also, I purchased them from Micheal's Craft Store for 4.99 and used a coupon and paid 2.99. I would suggest if you have a Micheal's near you, purchase there, much cheaper.
