Bought this for extra outdoor light - I'm a wildlife photographer. Great light with a huge reach and more than reasonable battery life but I started noticing banding across the images I was taking so for me, used photographically, it's not effective - hence a star knocked off. For most other purposes I suspect it's a great bit of kit.

As I had quite a few redecorating jobs lined up I decided to get rid of my decades-old analog construction lamp. Not only because I got tired of the cable that comes with it, also it produces an immense amount of heat and it doesn’t even bathe my DIY work in the brightest light.So a modern led upgrade was well overdue.I opted for a large amount of lumen so that would allow me to complete paint jobs in the evenings. Because of the lumen requirement I knew I would have to pay up.This lamp arrived in a compact, plain brown cardboard box. A straightforward instruction sheet is included that explains how to put the lamp base and handle together as well as how to operate the buttons.However it operates in a really easy manner; the green button allows you to cycle trough several light intensities and the red button turns on the ‘party mode’ where the leds start to flash red and green - my children in particular were delighted by that option, so I had to constantly reclaim the lamp from wherever they were playing for the first few weeks.There is also a USB charging port, supposedly to charge your electronic devices. I haven’t yet tried it but assume this charging function works well, though I suspect it will cause you to lose battery power for your jobs.Most importantly, the lamp, its brightness and the wide area covered by light were a great help in the brightest mode. In that mode I found I could use the lamp for say 1.5 to 2 hours before its run out of power. However you can of course keep it on all the time if you got the charging cable at hand and a power source. And the battery will last much, much longer in the less bright modes. To get the battery fully charged once depleted takes a couple of hours I found.The only small complaint I have so far is that the red rubber USB port cover came loose soon after starting to use the lamp. And it seems impossible to get it back in place - small disappointment given that this wasn’t a cheap lamp.Nevertheless I assume this led lamp is much more energy efficient than my old clunky one. So it will safe me some money. And I’m quite pleased with it, so would still recommend for its basic functionality.

I had high hopes as a battery powered light is more convenient for workshop repairs under the car. It has multiple settings for brightness but even on a medium setting the life is less than 2 hours and takes an age to recharge. Perhaps I'm expecting too much but it's disappointing for what I need.

Absolutely Love this light, haven’t even needed it on the brightest setting as it’s bright enough on the 1st and 2nd setting. Cannot fault this light. I have recently moved yards and the sables I’m in don’t have lights so this easily lights up the whole stable, very happy with my purchase and others on the yard have bought this exact item as they saw mine and needed one! Very happy! 😊

I bought this light expecting not much, but I really like its difference in brightness, for every purpose. Comes with a cable to plug in plus batteries. The only complain i wish the cable was longer but overall is a good product and I highly recommended.UpdateAfter I have used for a while the light charging time I reckon, sux, it does not last keep going off in the middle of my DIY projects and after it has been connected for days so I'm reducing the stars quality to three! What a pity because it is a very bright light and helpful if it would last!

Love the different lighting levels. On the brightest setting it completely illuminates the inside of my garage. Easy recharge via USB. Have to be careful not to hit the lower switch which looks like I'm having repeated visits from the emergency services.

Great product. Works as described. Useful that it’s rechargeable. Not glitch is that given technology today battery life could be better. Having said that it lasts for a few hours and given price more than meets expectations. Would thoroughly recommend.

Ordered these for our outdoor wedding instead of hiring a lighting tower. Got much more for our money doing this and we obviously get to keep the floodlights
