Magnesium Foot Bath Flakes with Organic Orange & Lemon Peel (6.8 lb)

This is a fantastic product! Magnesium is a major electrolyte/mineral we constantly loose and must replenish for proper functioning of the heart and other major organs... its levels are depleted by any kind of stress, sweating, consumption of medications (antibiotics, diuretics, pain medications and more), and diet (the water you drink can strip you of magnesium... and the foods you eat... seeds, nuts, raw spinach, for example, all deplete your magnesium levels). Magnesium is a major player in our body and from what I have learned it is best absorbed into the body transdermally (through the skin, not through the digestive tract as in supplement form). That's one of the major reasons why the ocean water is so healing to us! We soak up magnesium by swimming in ocean water! In order for our bones to absorb calcium we need magnesium (folks who usually suffer from calcium deficiency, really suffer from greater magnesium deficiency...)! Magnesium is part of over 300 know enzymatic reactions in the body. It is a major player in hormonal health, and hormones can make or break us.With this said, I am grateful for this mix. It is potent and effective. I use it for foot soaks and do occasionally sprinkle it in my children's bath water too. The orange and lemon peel give it a nice aroma. In the description it says that this product contains zeolite powder, which actually aids in mineral transfer/exchange. The label on my product does not list zeolite powder... The ingredients as shown on my label are:Magnesium Chloride (with naturally-occuring trace minerals) sourced from Ancient Inland Ocean Wellsprings, Organic Orange Peel, and Organic Lemon Peel.I love using this as a foot soak at the end of the day when my kids are tucked into beds!
