Canvas Web Belt Flip-Top Antique Silver Buckle/Tip Solid Color 50" Long 1.5" Wide

I really like the 1.5” Columbia military style web belts and associated buckles. High quality webbing and high quality buckles. I’ve owned one tan Columbia web belt for over a decade and I own several other colors .. every color but blue. It seems all but impossible for Columbia to make blue web belts.So I took a chance with this company. In the pictures the material was similar-ish. In person, this belt’s material is notably thinner than and a bit more flimsy than the Columbia material. But there’s enough similar that I’m willing to give the MATERIAL a try.The buckle on the other hand .. it’s not at all impressive. It’s not the best thing to try to open. However, after about a dozen open/close cycles, one side didn’t want to hold as well. The teeth aren’t the best idea because they’ll quickly damage the material, as is evidenced by many other reviews.I have an extra Columbia slide buckle, so I’m using that. It works well.I can only somewhat recommend the fabric portion of this belt. The buckle, leaves a LOT to be desired.

I've only had it for a day, but so far so good. My pants haven't drifted to my knees, which is decidedly good because I work as a cashier at a very busy grocery store. The belt webbing is decent, but not the best quality I've owned. The buckle is also a new style for me, and I didn't realize just how easy it can be to become just that much more lazy in regards to cinching and loosening my new belt. The buckle has a nifty design that swings open and allows the belt to completely dangle without a care. This might be problematic at some point when I lose enough weight to actually see the buckle when I look down. For now, though, I will have to rely on feeling a cool breeze across my navel to know that I have inadvertently released the buckle's clasp. The gasps and stares of my customers might also be a good indicator of the belt's lack of use, but I will have to hope that never happens.I rated this belt four stars for the reason that the thin webbing of the belt may reduce its lifespan to such a degree that it may become frayed in the near future. I carry various items on my waist, and I need a belt that can take a beating, similar to that of a redheaded stepchild.

Initially rated 2 stars, later upgraded. Both the webbing and the buckle were lighter weight than expected, a bit on the flimsy side, but not enough to send it back. The color is definitely off -- this so-called "charcoal" definitely has a purple cast. I also ordered a khaki belt w/black buckle. Again the color was off -- this khaki is not the army green I expected, but rather just tan (no hint of green whatsoever). I prefer the antique silver buckle over the black. The black looks like it will be prone to showing scratches, whereas scratches would be far less noticeable on the antique finish.UPDATE 3/28/2018: After nearly a year and a half, I'm updating my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Although thinner than I expected at purchase, this has not been any problem. Both the belt and the buckle have held up well.UPDATE 6/1/2020: After 3 1/2 years, the belt and buckle still look like new. If I buy another belt, it will be this one again.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I needed a new belt for my inside the waistband holster to carry concealed. This is the most comfortable belt I've ever owned. True to the description, it is 1.5" wide, tough canvas, great buckle with solid gripping power...and a great price! I wear a size 36" waist in jeans, but I wear a 38" for concealed carry. This belt was a perfect fit with a little extra (not much though).belt remaining after I buckled it. Rather than leave the loose end dangling, I just folded it under the belt loop. If you are a bigger man, (say a 42 or 44" waist, this might not fit...the actual length of the fabric on the belt is 50", ...you be the judge. But so far, this has been an excellent purchase! I immediately ordered two more in different colors. Works for jeans, khakis, cargo shorts, BDUs, etc. You probably don't want to wear this to a wedding or taking your lady out to a nice dinner, otherwise it's a daily part of any man's wardrobe. Buy it...you won't regret it!

This is a very nice belt but after a week of wearing it with different pairs of pants. Then I wore my Dickeys work pants. Should have thought something was up when ti was hard to fit the metal end through the belt loops. When I took it off at the end of the day that metal end got stuck in a loop. I tugged at it and the belt came out but the end stayed in. Had to use a pair of pliers to get it out.

This is a very good belt - the canvas strap is thick and strong, and the color is very close to the images shown. The length is also accurate - I ordered 3 of these belts (one with a shiny buckle and two with black buckles) and all of them are at 50 inches or slightly longer. I wear 32 or 33 inch waist in jeans, so ended up cutting about 10 inches off the strap for a good fit without having too much strap sticking out of the buckle after tightening for best fit.Only one minor downside with these - a couple of the inside edges of the buckle (both the shiny and black ones) are a little jagged and slightly sharp. It's not so sharp that you'll cut yourself, but it is very noticeable when putting the belt on. I solved this with a small piece of 220 grit sandpaper, carefully sanding the jagged edges. It only took a minute to fix.

Perfect belt for a Luke Skywalker costume. Fit great.

I'm giving this 4 stars but ill change it to 5 once I feel the belt has lasted a good amount of time. I used to have to buy a lot of these type of belts during rotc in high school so thats really what I want to test out. For as many as I bought I still liked the belts because they weren't restricted by tiny holes. Its very adjustable you just have to be mindful when you cut the length to fit your waist. That's my main draw to the belt. It fits all and I'm skinny so for those who had to poke a hole in their belt just for it to fit. This belt is for you.

I had a similar belt that I got from a D-TOX store back in 11 years ago and it served me well for all theses years and I been looking for another ones in my local malls without success. I wasn't sure about the the quality/durability of the one online, but I can now assure you all that you won't be disappointed. The price is super reasonable and it is pretty easy to modified to your specific waist size. ( I gave this same review to another color of belt)
