I bought this product to make Anderson Powerpole extension cables. Although the quality is good the coating on the outside of the conducting wire is soft rubber instead of a hard rubber. This makes the cable extremely flexible if you need to route it around tight spots. However, if your intention is to connect it to an Anderson Powerpole connector, forget about it. This was a no go for me. I'll keep this around the shop for future projects and pay closer attention next time.

Originally this 12 gauge wire was purchased for R/C airplane use. It’s a good choice for that application since the higher amperage connectors such as the XT60 and EC5 are large enough to accept it. It’s too large for Anderson Powerpole 30A contacts, though. To use with the Anderson Powerpole system the 45A contacts are required.

This wire was described as being tinned OFC with a silicone jacket, and it is exactly that! I was surprised to find the silicone jacket, while being extremely flexible, does not easily tear like some silicone jackets. The wire takes solder nicely, the jacket didn’t deform or melt at all, as expected. In my limited testing, the wire strands did not break under moderate twisting and pulling once soldered to a perf-board. The price is also very good for a lesser wire, but excellent for this wire which is far superior to what I thought I was buying. I will be using this wire to rewire the heated beds on 4 of my 3D Printers (2 Tronxy and 2 Kingroon printers, all wired inadequately from the factory). Overall, a solid 10/10. I would definitely recommend purchasing this wire.

really nice wire, very flexible and not prone to kinking. Easy to work with and solder. My only issue was that I didn't notice when purchasing that it really wasn't 30 feet, it's 15 feet. But they are selling as 15 red and 15 black. I had to order a second one to complete my project.
