Deppen goes into super detail into the plo8 world. I play mostly online and found this book to have some great ideas and it changed the way I play.

Il fatto che sia dedicato solo a PLO8 è già un plus. In molti altri libri PLO8 è solo un capitolo. I contenuti sono rivolti più che altro ai giocatori di cash ma c'è anche una parte sui tornei. Le descrizioni delle starting hands, delle equity delle mani vs altre mani o come giocare pre e post flop sono comunque di utilizzo generale. In pratica tutto quello che c'è da sapere su questo gioco bello ma complicato. Sicuramente un must have per chi è interessato.

I had known most basic knowledge of the game but this book has suddenly and quickly improved my game

I like the book. The book was designed for people that are going to start playing this at a casino for the first time. One noticeable flaw is the emphasis in preflop equity percentile. For example in Hold'em, 2-2 is not that strong of a hand, but its preflop equity percentile is quite high since it is a favorite over any nonpair hand. So in terms of equity percentile, 2-2 is better than AK. In PLO8, don't play W-W-6-x even though the book says you should. Likewise play W-W-W-x even though the equity is low.

I found this book to be very helpful in understanding the tactics of hi lo omaha and it is especially designed to talk about strategy regarding pot limit omaha, not much here on limit games.
