JUST AS EXPECTED- Cannot beat Olukai's!
This is my 5th pair of Olukai Flip Flops and, as has been my experience in the past, these are comfortable, supportive and fit my feet well. I have always found Olukai's to be well made & long-lasting and very comfortable, even when worn for long periods; making them worth the higher price as compared to other brands. I would suggest that you have at least 2 pair and alternate wearing them though. They need some down-time to air out between wearings or they can eventually develop some foot odor!As for Sizing: I have a rather wide foot with the further complication of a bone spur/bunion at the base of my L great toe. I generally have to have an EE width in regular shoes. Olukai's seem to fit just right, although I do order up one full size (13 instead of my normal 12). This will usually result in a half-inch or so of extra sole behind my heel, but it leaves me with the width I need without being too large overall. If you have a normal width foot with no 'extracurricular' issues, you'll likely be content with your normal size. I would recommend going up, rather than down in size if you wear a half-size (Ex: For 10 1/2, order 11). Also, bear in mind that Olukai has recently introduced some newer model flops that seem to be built on a different 'last'. The Tauhine is one of these and is more narrow overall, with a more pointed toe box that is also narrower. With the Taurine, even the larger size 13 was much to tight for me.

Comfortable Quality
These are hands down the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I live in a tropic climate and wear these sandals every day all day long and I have not found a more comfortable sandals for all day use.I had a pair of Reef sandals before this pair and in my opinion they were not nearly as comfortable as these sandals. These sandals have great arch support which may take a day or two to get used to if you are coming from a flat-bottomed sandal. These sandals required absolutely no breaking in for me. They were as comfortable the minute they came out of the box as they are now that I have worn them daily for several months. The jury is still out on the durability of the sandal, but so far I have gotten several months of daily use and they have held up well and show little signs of use. I have had them to the beach and gotten them wet several times as well and this had not seemed to affect then negatively in any way.If you are looking for the ultimate blend of looks, comfort, and durability you have found it here.---------------------------Update - 6 months---------------------------So after about 6 months of almost daily use, the straps started to tear out of these sandals. According to the OluKai website, their sandals have a warranty for one year of "Straps pulling out where soles are not excessively worn."I contacted the OluKai, and after sending some photos and other information they agreed to replace the sandals free of charge. This kind of service on top of an already excellent product is hard to find, and I will definitely be looking to OluKai for future purchases.

Worthy
Got these for hubs. He’s pretty picky and needs more arch supports and cushion. I got them after a little research and definitely not disappointed. Pricey but so far they’re worth it. He’s pretty hard on shoes and flip flops and there’s still no signs of wear or fraying. Two thumbs up would recommend

Fantastic!
These are the best! Solid arch support, perfectly designed footbed, high quality materials and workmanship. When I first tried these on, I felt they were too hard under foot. Don’t let this fool you, that support is exactly what you need! I got used to it right away, and you will too. These are kind of expensive, yes, but the quality of design, materials and construction are well worth it.

Awesome sandals (slippers if you are islander)
Lets start with the most important thing about these sandals, the cost. If you are like me you wear sandals almost year around and these looked like they'd be pretty awesome. (I usually only wear one brand and style, that's the rainbow, hemp, double bed sandals) about 40.00, I have a review up over there if you want an alternate offer. These were very expensive to me for sandals, this cost would be expensive to me for shoes, but I figured I'll try anything once. The bed of this shoe is made from the same material as a wetsuit, it's soft and comfortable and has fantastic arch support. I've read people say that they've had issues with the smell getting bad from the material. I do not have foot odor so I can not report on this, but it seems like it'd be easily washable. The material did make the bottoms of my feet sweat a little at the arch, maybe because I'm used to standard sandals with no support though. The strap was just a little uncomfortable at first, usually takes me about a week to wear in a pair of sandals to be comfortable but these became comfortable after about a days worth of wear. It's very sturdy and seems like it'd last a while. It has a colorful double stitching that gives it a nicer style as well. The toe thong is folded outward and made of a soft material that didn't cause any "rub" on my toes while I wore them, very comfortable. The sole of these sandals is made from a sturdy rubber that sticks well, and has grooves like a shoe would. I walked in some water (tentatively, I was a little uptight about walking in a puddle after spending this much on sandals) and had no problem with "sticking". Some sandals almost glide over a puddle or water when you step in it causing you to do an impromptu split, these did not.The con I had with this and why I ultimately returned them was the weight. While it is obvious that these will have some weight to them, being used to using a lightweight, almost not there sandal, these were like wearing boots. The height of the sole is about that of a low pro shoe. At first this caused me to catch the toe a few times on steps, I had to consciously pick my feet up a little higher so as not to trip. Standing for long periods of time, or walking for a while if you are not used to sandals will be a breeze in these. If you ARE used to sandals and are comfortable in them these will probably feel pretty heavy to you. I like sandals for the minimal material, comfort, and light weight. I could not get past that aspect with these and ultimately returned them for a second pair of my favorite sandals. All that to say this, if you only wear shoes, or are a dressier casual person, get a pair they are VERY well made and look great. If you are a cheaper, beach going, always wearing sandal guy/gal, you probably want to skip this and go with a lighter more minimal sandal. If I helped please let me know, thanks and enjoy.
