Absolutely works, very easy to use and cuts paper very simply.Having bought an cheap imitation version last year and ended up throwing it out,this is a joy to use.

A mostly majestic tool with room for refinement, it's like a chorus that's one alto shy of perfection.

Had high hopes for this with the Christmas present wrapping this year, but have to say they are hit and miss as to whether they cut or rip the paper.I think to get the full use from the cutter you really need to use much thicker paper, rather than the cheaper thinner paper, but like most people we use a mixture of different types of paper, so we end up using standard scissors more than the cutters themselves.But on a positive note, when they do cut the paper it's a really easy process and leave a lovely clean and straight line.I'll keep the scissors handy though.

One of the worst products on the market a complete and utter waste of money.

The pros: There are two in a box. The cutter is sharp and cuts wrapping paper in a straight line.The cons: They are right handed (I'm not) and thus inconvenient. They are a set size so larger rolls can not be cut. They only cut off the roll - i.e in a vertical direction. Scissors are still required.

Does well with thick wrapping paper but is useless with thinner paper
